Korea to Limit Filipino Workers
|The big question is how this effects the juicy girl business?:
South Korea may limit the entry of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) due to the rising number of overstaying Filipino migrants, the local recruitment industry said Thursday.
Recruitment industry leaders said the government of South Korea has announced plans to reduce the rate of hiring Filipino workers to prevent an increase in the number of undocumented OFWs there.
Yong-Dal Kim, president of Human Resources Development (HRD) Service of Korea, reported that a huge number of overstaying workers will affect the labor quota that will be given to the Philippines under the Employment Permit System (EPS).
The government of South Korea has allocated 10,000 jobs for Filipino workers over the next three years. The same number of Filipinos are reportedly overstaying in Korea.
Only 10,000 Filipino workers over the next three years? I’m willing to bet there is over 10,000 Filipina juicy girls in Korea already, in addition to the thousands of Filipino industrial workers. How come I have this feeling the crackdown will target industrial workers and not juicy girls.

Many of the juicy girls are over staying their visas, but don't expect a crackdown on this.

what about OVER STAYED KOREAN'S here in the PHILIPPINES? and ILLEGAL KOREAN BUSINESSMEN !!! C'mon!
Ironic…also saw an article where Taiwan just laid off thousands of OFWs also, and will be getting rid of even more.
Look for an already depressed Philippine economy…propped up by $$$ being sent home by OFWs, to become even more depressed.
This has been coming for years…and who will Filipinos blame when it happens?
Everyone but themselves… 😆
In my opinion, the Korean government is reducing OFW visas in order to set the conditions for more Korean employment opportunities in Korea.

If that is true then somebody must think more Koreans would be ready to 'demean' themselves and accept the 3D (dirty, difficult, and dangerous) jobs they imported immigarnts to do.
I don't think that is true yet.
I just think that more of the already shakey small business factories are finally collapsing. As it seems to be customary in those cases they will work their immigrant workers hard for the last two or three months, while promising pay they never give, until the doors are finally shut for good one days and the owners are never seen again.
That is the story I've heard from many illegal workers who were once legal visa workers. They were left high and dry with no mean, nowhere to go, and sometimes without documents to go anywhere. The owners left without paying them and sometimes had in their possession passports they never returned.
So, the current conditions may actually increase the number of illegal immigrants rather than decrease them
Given the fact that there are many filipinos overstayed in Korea. Why is there a discrimination for english language teachers? They want someone who is a native speaker because of its accent, it physical features. Will these factors help Koreans to understand English better? My point is that you don't have to be a native speaker to teach English. Besides, will the Koreans be able to speak as a native speaker? The important thing in here is to comprehend english very well and just not to be blonde and slang!!! For the information of the Koreans, Filipinos comprehend english very well that is why more koreans are in the Philippines. It doesn't mean that if your blonde and has a slang accent you are very good in English. You may be a native speaker of english but how can you teach it to a korean or even to a japanese if you can't understand basics of it? HOw can you explain it well?

You've got her residence address. Maybe you can call the Philippine Embassy to contact her or they can point you to one of the charitable agencies that work with overstay workers.
On this website page, for the Philippine Overseas Labor Office at the Embassy in Korea it says:
You can find an email address and telephone number there.
VERY good point anne. It is all about the paso/won.
Don't expect the Philippines to crack down anytime soon.
