Taliban Kidnaps Korean Missionaries in Afghanistan

Anywhere from 18-23 Korean missionaries and NGO workers were kidnapped by Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan during a bus ride from Kandahar to Kabul.  The Taliban is demanding that Korea withdraw their troops from Afghanistan for the safe return of the abducted people.  The Marmot has an excellent post following the developments of this story as they happen.

[…] Violence on Christian missionaries makes me wonder. Should the Korean missionaries travelling in the muslem country be there? When in Rome do as the Romans do. Spreading the gospel in a foreign country when it is illegal is not a bright idea. Our prayers go out to the families of the kidnapped travellers. […]

It sickens me to see how many articles there are not praising these heroic individuals for their maryterdom but condeming them becasue they are trying to spread christianity, to a contry that has been constantly at war. Some people just sicken me!

Praise the Lord!

They can finally throw off their mortal toils and live beside the throne of God! Spending all eternity on their knees praying “holy, holy, holy”. Lucky bastards!
