Naked Woman Decides to Take A Stroll Through Gangnam
|Did anyone see a naked woman walking around Gangnam last week?:
A viral video of a naked woman on the streets of Gangnam, southern Seoul, uploaded to YouTube last week, is prompting a slew of false rumors.
When the video went viral on Thursday, netizens spread the rumors about how she ended up in her birthday suit. They also claimed that the woman had been questioned by police.
However, Gangnam police said the video had been uploaded four days before, and went viral due to the rumor mongering.
“It seems as if someone deliberately made up stories about an existing video to get attention,” said the police.
“Once we receive reports from the woman or another relevant party, we will find who first spread the video and consider punishment.” [Korea Times]
So let me get this straight, if you take a video of someone walking naked in public in Korea and post it to the Internet, you are the one that gets in trouble?
Yes…you will get in trouble. Just like the person who uploaded the video of the couple having sex in a Matiz on a public street. Korea laws are stupid…need to look no further tgan the traffic laws to start….
Why moderation?
“So let me get this straight, if you take a video of someone walking naked in public in Korea and post it to the Internet, you are the one that gets in trouble?”
Yes, in Korea. ChickenHead can come busting out his front door buck naked with three underage trannies in tow complaining how he shorted them on payment for deviant services, have a screaming match for 20 minutes in the middle of the day and smack them around.
If I capture this on my smartphone and post it online it’s a crime if I didn’t get their permission. For showing people what occurred in public.
Don’t try to understand Koreans, just pity them.
Awaiting moderation again!? Come on man… how are you going to have an article where you chastise censorship in Korea and your blog’s a freaking Nazi that won’t even tell you in advance what it considers questionable? I took a break from the Drop a couple years ago for a few months cause of this crap.
It’s automated. He may be using Askimet and since he just set up this new site, may have forgot to lower the language rating.
Flyingsword, Smokes,
Your problem is that you are low-speaking crass mutherfukkers who can’t talk about anything other than fisting some nakkkid whoore and the filter certainly has your number.
If you always wrote like an innocent Christian teen gentleman from the Victorian age, as I do, you would have no problem.
Get an avatar ya troll.
All the cool kids are doing it! Peer pressure, peer pressure!
Don’t tempt him.
I’ve seen him steal gravatars to give ’em the ‘what for’!
I don’t want anyone to steal my blue hair.
OK. You win, peers. Is this Gravatar acceptable?
How about one taken this year.
Smokes I pulled your comment out of moderation but the Akismet plug in is what is flagging comments.
Your reason and logic is meaningless!
Additionally I vote for Avatar #1 for CH, it’s probably his real photo anyway. 😀
CH’s photos look familiar, but I am drawing a blank.
I think CH should use the ChickenHead Labs logo, but that’s just me…
Neither pic is of CH, or at least not the guy in the pic I Googled, but I’m not sure who the pics are of. Some random internet villain of the week, I think. Or villain from some pop culture series I’m not familiar with.
MTB Rider wins the prize, Liz is understandably drawing a blank, and Smokes missed the boat.
Who knows who these jokers are. I just wrote a quick Gravatar scraper and those were the first two that popped up.
Gravatar is lots of fun to brighten up your comment… or if you are a high school student with no other way to express yourself… but it neither proves identity nor protects anonymity.
We discussed this before in great detail… including the very real legal, social, career risks of using it.
Sadly, there is an over-reliance on noisy-flashy crap… and a lack of meaningful content in much of the Internet these days.
…and all that “free” noisy-flashy crap is actually being (or attempting to be) monetized with the best interest of the user last in line.
Anyway, I did a very quick search using one of the Gravatar hacks I described earlier this year (last year?).
I learned many things about MTB Rider simply based off the obscured-but-not-encrypted data associated with his Gravatar. I won’t post that here, of course… but I will cheerfully hint.
MTB Rider,
You discovered Standard Action on September 8, 2014 and you watched both seasons by September 14.
Your mountain bike is gray and black with red and white trim and lettering… probably a Trek Superfly.
You get the idea.
Gravatar sucks if you value privacy.
OK… let’s see if we can trick Gravatar into giving us a ChickenHead Logo.
It’s a Trek 9.9 SSL… Stay out of my geek prawn collection you! 😉
Bah the only person not on the boat is you. The point is neither proof of identity nor means of anonymity, it’s a picture which may or may not express a sentiment. As for digging around, knock yourself out; I only use it here so you’ll find nothing beyond my mad ravings on `the Drop.
Once again if anyone is worried about the privacy concerns that Chickhead has brought up about using gravatar.com the other option is to just upload an avatar directly on to my web server. You can do this by registering for an account and then going to your profile page and uploading an image.
It said my username has to be at least four characters. Boo.
I’m comfortable enough with gravatar (for now) 🙂
Using the obscured-but-not-encrypted data in Smokes Gravatar, I was able to find out that his Brony cosplay is made of pink Spandex with rainbow sparkles and an amazingly fluffy tail. Coupled with a white wig with blinking LED pony ears, it really expresses his true devotion to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
The only downside is the brown nicotine stains on the baby blue plastic right hoof.
I’ll translate for those of you who don’t speak BS, “He’s right, there’s nothing out there connecting the persona “Smokes” with the real person who uses it that the average CH can find.”
I don’t know. I guess it is not really a smoking (pardon the pun) gun.
I just assumed this was Smokes based on the available evidence.
Perhaps everyone should simply take a look and form their own opinion.

I bet it took you a lot longer to find and edit that image than it did for me to find the original:

😉
Smokes, that is a shyt job of photoshopping out the sign and nametag.
At least change the hands so it doesn’t look like he is holding an invisible sign.
