Army Special Forces Colonel Accused of Knowingly Giving Woman HIV
|It will be interesting to see how this turns out:
After almost seven hours of testimony Monday, the Article 32 hearing for a senior Army National Guard officer charged with knowingly exposing a woman to HIV by having unprotected sex will continue into Tuesday.
Col. Jeffrey Pounding, a Special Forces officer who is currently assigned as the deputy director of the National Guard Bureau’s strategic plans and policy directorate (J-5), faces one charge each of assault, adultery and conduct unbecoming an officer.
The woman who is accusing Pounding of exposing her to HIV said their relationship began when they were both at Texas A&M University, where he was an Army fellow. ( Army Times)
You can read more at the link, but if it is proven this Colonel knowingly gave her HIV I would hope that would lead to jail time.
That really sucks…
but, his name is Col. Jeffrey Pounding?
I anxiously await CH’s response. 😛
LIMERICK
At first glance, this has you astounded,
but with thought, you won’t be confounded.
This azzhole, you see,
to catch HIV,
was not only Pounding but pounded.
GI Korea’s headline, it blows
since “knowingly giving”, he chose.
The woman’s healthy and alive
as the “giving” part’s jive.
She was just “knowingly exposed”.
Why wasn’t he quarenteened???
“Why wasn’t he quarenteened???”
Because the distant elite making the quarantine rules have very little chance of catching anything from him… and those who who do have a chance… well… too bad for the little people.
On the topic of quarantine and semen….India is quarantining a man who has recovered from ebola, but still has toxic semen.
(I’ve always wondered if toxic semen explains what happened to Renee Zellweger’s face…look at what happened to all the women Jim Carrey dated…Jenny McCarthy faired okay, but she’s a vegan or something so she probably didn’t partake)
Anyone else notice a pattern of Liz commenting exclusively on stories about officers doing shifty stuff?
-_O
What gives Liz?
I’m married to an officer.
It’s what I know.
Married to officer longtime.
(I was still getting carded to watch rated R movies then, my second year of college)
Smokes, when you started that thought, I didn’t expect it to finish with misbehaving officers…
…I thought it was going to end in semen.
Hmmm.
The India thing is worth watching. Indians are slightly more dirty than Africans… and possibly more chaotic (in a non-violent way).
Anyway…
Had AIDS been treated as a disease rather than a social issue to dance around politically-correctly in the early 80s, this would not be as much of an issue today.
Anybody who knowingly exposes someone to HIV like this should be charged with attempted murder and forcibly removed from society where they can do little harm… as they obviously won’t self quarantine… apparently due to malicious intent.
Charging him with assult, same as if he simply gave her a cheek-reddening smack for too much biitching, is insulting to her and the value of her life.
“…I thought it was going to end in semen.”
If I had been quicker on the uptake this morning, I would have interpreted “officers doing shifty stuff” as semen swimmers and gone with it. 😛
(perhaps Smokes was going for a gentle euphemism there, raising the tone, as it were)
Nah I was fully aware of the many avenues I could have went down but decided to take the high road.
Besides I don’t think I’ve fully recovered from writing that horrible Night Before Christmas post last year… yeesh…
