Columbian: “I was told that it’s very easy to steal stuff in South Korea”

Rumor going around Columbia that South Korea’s paradise for thieves to steal because people are careless and leave things out in open. Police caught Columbians who made off with tens of thousands of dollars from unsuspecting businesses in Myeongdong. They’re looking for more Columbian gang of thieves who are responsible for series of thefts from businesses and tourists.

Pearl Harbor was my grandparents’ generation’s 9/11.

Or maybe 9/11 was my generation’s Pearl Harbor.

I remember my grandmother talking about Pearl Harbor and saying she would always remember that day and what she was doing. I didn’t understand at the time, but now I feel the same about 9/11.

The sinking of the Titanic was your great grandparents’ Pearl Harbor, the assination of JFK was your parents’ Titanic, and the Incident will be your children’s 9/11.

I’m not sure about the Titanic. Perhaps the sinking of the Lusitania, Zimmermann Telegram, and assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand combined were our great grandparents’’ Pearl Harbor.

http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-12-08/korean-air-chairman-s-daughter-deplanes-crew-over-macadamia-nuts

Yes, little Miss Princess Heather Cho was served a bag of macadamia nuts that she didn’t want, and ordered the plane back to the gate to deplane the offending peasant. No word if he was properly flogged or not, but it is safe to assume he was. 230 paying passengers are clearly less important than making sure the peons know that you must ask the VIP if they want nuts before serving them.

The part where she grilled him about company policy? Yeah, you know how that went…

Over $13 billion in losses per year, to South Korean fishing industry, due to Chinese illegal fishing in South Korea, representing 62% of South Korea’s entire fishing industry.

http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=shm&sid1=102&oid=001&aid=0007289769

Over 2600 Korean netizen comments right now, over the Chinese blatantly stealing which is getting worse by the day.

Over 2000 to 3000 Chinese junks seen fishing in South Korean waters every single day, wiping out fish stocks right down to the eggs. Pictures here.

White protestors in California get violent, start looting…

Sure has been Cricket Quiet around here, no problamo right?

Chickenhead would have ya’ll believe this violent protesting/looting was just a black thing and a liberal “race card”/Jesse Jackson game, but Foxnews plays the race card game time and time again as I’ve pointed out/linked to recently but ya’ll believe Chickenhead because he’s YOUR Master and GI’s favorite target which he directs “Hey Chickenhead…” his comments when it seems out of place as there are others that contribute?

http://thegrio.com/2014/12/07/berkeley-protestors-violent-looting/
“BERKELEY, Calif. — Two officers were injured as a Northern California protest over police killings turned violent, with protesters smashing windows and throwing rocks and bricks at police,”

“Updated by theGrio: In the video above, an employee at the Radio Shack describes the violent looters who came into his store as white.

“I don’t know why they have white people coming in and shoving black people, you know what I mean? If you’re protesting white-on-black crime you shouldn’t be in this protest if you have white skin,”

ChickenHead

A protest in Berkeley, you say?

That has always been a hotspot of right wing conservative Republican unrest.

Keep in mind nobody said the looters were white. There was talk of looters. Then a cut. Then talk of a white protester shoving a black guy. Careful editing suggested a narrative that may or may not be true… but probably is not… otherwise, “white looters” would have been directly reported with leftist glee.

Protip: Don’t introduce Gary, Indiana into any argument where you are trying to make a case that blacks can function without white supervision and don’t introduce Berkeley, California into any argument where you are trying to make a case that liberals are more rational/peaceful/better than conservatives.

This finally shows up in mainstream media:

“Bevo Mill residents, whose neighborhood has seen a cumulative 24-percent rise in aggravated assaults over the last three months, say assaults and threats by packs of teenagers against Bosnians have become the norm. One who spoke to FoxNews.com on condition of anonymity due to safety reasons claims he and his family experienced a similar attack and said there is a disturbing pattern of violence against white residents in the area.”

Wonder if any White House representatives will be showing up for Bosnian victims. They probably already missed the funeral for the one who got beaten to death with hammers. #BosnianLivesMatter

This has the potential to turn into a real race war. Can you imagine if the next time a Bosnian is stopped by a group of blacks in the street, they shoot them or run them over? Hope St. Louis can get this under control for everyone’s sake. I can’t imagine Bosnians will tolerate much more before they start defending themselves.

The collapse of the Pirate Bay, ‘the world’s most notorious file-sharing site’
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/12/10/the-collapse-of-the-pirate-bay-the-worlds-most-notorious-file-sharing-site/

Yeah I seem to remember all the rumors about illegal sharing back when Napster fell, how’d that work out again?

Meanwhile as Hollywood cries poverty we have this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_films#Highest-grossing_films

Of the 50 highest only 4 were out during a time before dl’ing movies was pretty easy.

Well I’m off, time to go watch the series finale of Sons, my dl just finished. 😉

Tom
Tom

South Korea has illegalized all the file sharing sites, cracked down all the operators, and fined all the hosts as well as the people who use them. The crackdown was hugely successful since its inception in 2009. Result has been software and music piracy in S.Korea has come to a crawl. A lesson that the US has yet to learn, that stealing other people’s works by downloading them for free is wrong and that it should be a reason for punishment.

Random bill-paying rant. They need to just get rid of the Officer’s club. It is a worthless, piece of crap racket with awful food. Ever since about….I don’t know, 15 years ago now? They’ve forced everyone who is a member (and all officers are strongarmed into being members) to sign up for a credit card to pay for it. There are no other options. You can’t just write them a check for the annual amount, it has to be charged monthly, on this card. There is an automatic payment option of course, but we’ve been burned by that before and when I tried to cancel it continued to deduct payments for about eight months before I could get the thing shut off (I was overseas at the time, with very small children and it was inconvenient to say the least). Spouse club deductions are made through the same card…so if you want to be a member of spouse’s club you have to have a club membership.

I’m reading today’s bill, and it’s ten bucks a month. Not exhorbitant, but that’s still 120 dollars per year that there is no reason for…I could take 12 yoga classes instead of paying that. The bill states:
Late payment warning If we do not receive your minimum payment by the date listed above, you may have to pay a late fee of up to $29.00 and APR’s will be subject to increase to a maximum Penalty APR of 19.99%”

So if this bill got lost in the mail and/or my payment gets lost on the way (could happen, my electric bill never made it two months ago) I might have to pay a 300+ percent charge on this piece of crap card I don’t even want. This is a total racket. This is the monstrosity that can be created by merging government PLUS private industry…private industry says, “hey, these people HAVE to be members…we’ll force them to use a credit card” they can’t do this otherwise. GAH!

Andy, a better question would ask how many Koreans attack police… and what (if any) weapons they use.

Perhaps it is glamorization of easy violence, widespread drug abuse, short-term thinking, poorly focused anger, hopelessness, admiration from unsocialized peers, untreated mental illness, the lack of responsibility which comes with institutionalized dependence… who knows… but Americans attack police officers with some frequency… though not as much as paranoid police believe.

…but as cops deserve to go home safely every night, they err on the side of caution… their caution… just as anyone else would do.

The reality is most people killed by cops in public confrontations are asking for it one way or the other… either by attacking them directly, needlessly resisting, or being amazingly unaware of how their actions can be perceived as a threat.

Depending on your level of cynicism, you can mark this up to police resisting the use of force as much as possible… or, as they are well aware of potential witnesses, they seldom use deadly force incorrectly in a public setting.

But I agree… the peacefulness and lack of daily scumbag interaction in Korea is a big plus of living here.

Andy: “Thats why I love it here.”

Are you stupid or just pretending? Believe me, for every S. Korean pretending to “love” you there are more wanting to kill you. “Love” means HATE in S. Korea, if you haven’t learned that by now then all I can say is ….DUH-DUM-AZZ!!!

ChickenHead

Tbone, I expect you get out of Korea close to what you put into it.

Considering you had (at least) four different conflicts in Korea that ended up in the police station, it is easy to believe that more Koreans wanted to kill you than love you…

…though you fail to mention the incredible kindness shown to you when you were not deported… and you fail to mention how Koreans took care of you, providing free food and shelter, when you were freshly unemployed… though you did manage to screw that up through a poor attitude and a sense of entitlement.

The most amazing thing is how many people constantly complain about Korea yet linger for years… or maybe it is not amazing… as they have nothing but a life of poverty and celibacy waiting for them Back Home.

Regardless, it seems better to have a few Koreans wanting to kill you than many negros wanting to kill you… as the negros are known to follow through.

I’m sure there are people who hate me just for being an American, but I haven’t had any incidents or altercations here.

Stateside, I’ve had three separate incidents: I’ve been robbed at gunpoint, had my house burglarized, and my car vandalized. All three while living in nice neighborhoods and all three times the crimes were committed by African-Americans. I’m not racist at all just stating the facts. Of course there are criminals here just like everywhere else, but to me it just feels safer here. There are about a105 violent crimes in Gangnam everyday, the odds are against you. Just give them more time fella.

ChickenHead
ChickenHead

That 38,408 violent crime number for Gangnam is a bit shady.

While it originally comes from the Wall Street Journal, based on “government data”, an actual check of Korean government data for 2013 yields 4721 incidents of the seven “high priority” crimes in Gangnam, which include violent crimes and drug crimes.

And, of course, it doesn’t ring true anyway considering the size of the area and the size of the police presence.

The very definition of “violent crimes’ are too different from the US and Korea.

38,408 violent crimes, mostly drunk fights, or complaints about public disturbances. Koreans are zealous numbers crunchers, not numbers analyzers.

While violent crimes in the US would be like shooting murders, killings for the day, gang fights, drug hits, rapes, armed robberies and assaults, etc.

Tom
Tom

One big advantage that Korea has over the US is that Korea has no large number of poor black people with venom and bitterness in their hearts. If the US got rid of all the blacks and Latinos, I’m sure the violent crime rates will go down by 70%. Whites and North East Asians like Koreans and Japanese, have cultural harmony where the both races (whites and NE Asians) value strong family, strong education, strong country, strong civil law, and discipline. Therefore this is why White Americans and Koreans/Japanese can eye to eye on many social issues, thereby most suited to live together. On the other hand, Blacks, Latinos, and red Indians do not value any of that.

I can say all this because I’m not white American, therefore don’t have to abide by political correctness. I can say what’s on my mind without being afraid.

I once wrote that government, companies, social media, etc., are not trustworthy in holding personal or sensitive information…

…as it is all one poorly configured firewall, one lost laptop, or one angry employee away from public exposure.

…not to mention that most information is, at best, not collected for your benefit… and, at worst, is collected for some form of profitization or control.

And would you know it… I forgot to put Sony on my mailing list.

One big advantage that USA has over the S. Korea is that USA has no large of Jeolla Province/communist loving poor dark colored people with venom and bitterness in their hearts.

Do you see that Tom, I fixed it for you. How stupid can you be about S. Korea? S. Koreans within S. Korea hate each other, Jeolla province Koreans are equal to the American black person(they have darker colored skin) not to mention anything about N. Korean.

ChickenHead

“poor black people with venom and bitterness in their hearts.”

Amazing.

Tom actually made an accurate observation in quotable form.

What next? Red seas or clouds of locust?

Regardless of racial, social, or political leanings, it must be recognized there is a sizeable demographic of “poor black people with venom and bitterness in their hearts.”

There needs to be an honest discussion as to why this is… and there needs to be an honest solution which truly solves the problem instead of obscuring or delaying the symptoms.

The leftist answer of more throwing lots of lip service and a little money and special treatment while requiring no responsibility or positive change is not the solution.

The right wing answer of tougher laws and more crackdowns is not the solutin either.

Until there is honest discussion followed by honest action, there will continue to be “poor black people with venom and bitterness in their hearts.”

And that is bad for all Americans.

Tom
Tom

“it must be recognized there is a sizeable demographic of “poor black people with venom and bitterness in their hearts.”

The bitter black man robs a store, invites the cops to shoot him and lunges at them. The cops defend themselves and does shoot the bastard dead. First of all, don’t rob people. Second of all, cooperate with the police instead of giving them a hard time. Third of all, don’t lunge at the police, that’s a bad ideal. Fourth, don’t blame the cops for your poor violent loser attitude.

Chickenhead and I are in perfect agreement.

I was looking forward to the alternative version of events of the Kajieme Powell video.

ChickenHead
ChickenHead

johnnyboy, even the guy taking the video knew how that was going to play out.

If you have your gun pointed at someone and he keeps coming and coming and coming… and gets within arm’s reach… that alone is reason enough to shoot him. Don’t play with crazy.

Kajieme Powell is just another example of someone getting shot after begging for it… perhaps literally, in this case. There is truly nothing to see here.

If the black community wants to get outraged about something, there are plenty of examples. This might be one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIW9V6hYYOE

Fortunately the system kinda worked… as in charges against Marcus Jeter were dropped when the truth came out… but the cops will likely not get the decades in jail they deserve for this…

…and that is something the black community should be demonstrating for… and the white community should be doing so as well… clear-cut premeditated criminality on the part of the police during and after the event.

Did this happen because of a racist mentality or a thug mentality?

Either way, this is the type of behavior all citizens should take to the streets to demonstrate against… rather than manufactured outrage at nonexistent racism against pitiless thugs and criminals.

So where was Holder and Sharpton and Obama in this situation?

It really seems poor examples are being pushed by government and media to divide the races and divide the population based on sensible values and easily manipulated emotion.

Here’s an outrage:

One Cop Dead, 3 Wounded After No-Knock Raid in Texas (VIDEO)
Posted by Austin Petersen • 12 May 2014
A Killeen Texas police officer was killed after executing a no-knock search warrant on Friday. Detective Charles Dinwiddie died on Saturday when a male unloaded on the officers who broke into his home he was occupying with a reportedly pregnant female.

Authorities were attempting to serve a narcotics search warrant when they were fired upon. Two of the police officers received minor gunshot wounds, while one Officer Odis Denton received a more serious injury to the femur.

The raid reportedly occurred at 5:30 a.m. and no notice was given prior to entering. Marvin Louis Guy is being held by the Killeen City Jail on a three million dollar bond, one million for each alleged attempted capital murder attempt.

No drugs found in raid that claimed the life of Texas police officer
May 16 2014

Documents released Wednesday including search warrant affidavits and a lengthy evidence inventory provide details of both the drug raid that left one Killeen police officer dead and another injured and of the crime scene investigation that followed the deadly shooting.

Police Detective Charles “Chuck” Dinwiddie, 47, and Officer Odis Denton, 37, were shot as they and other officers served the narcotics search warrant just after 5:30 a.m. Friday at 1104 Circle M Dr. Apt. 3 in Killeen.

Dinwiddie died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the intensive care unit of Scott & White Hospital.

Denton, who was shot in the femur, underwent surgery and was released from Scott & White on Wednesday.

Two other officers were hit by gunfire, but were spared injury by their protective gear.

An inventory of evidence collected over the course of about 12 hours as the crime scene was processed through the afternoon on May 9 and into the early morning hours on May 10 lists dozens of shell casings, projectiles, projectile fragments among more than 150 items gathered and documented.

Investigators also seized a glass pipe identified as drug paraphernalia, a safe, a grinder, a laptop computer, two walkie-talkies, a 9-mm pistol, and three cellphones from inside the apartment.

The evidence return does not list any drugs.

Perhaps this was a major drug operation that justified a pre-dawn, no-knock raid. But it doesn’t seem like it from the evidence found. I’d imagine that a good percentage of households in Texas have at least one firearm and that a good percentage of households elsewhere in America have cellphones and a set of walkie-talkies. The pipe suggests drug use, not distribution. KWTX says an informant allegedly saw white bags of cocaine transported in and around the house. That may well have happened, but informants are notoriously unreliable.

But all of that is mostly beside the point. The fact that the police didn’t find any drugs in the house suggests that Marvin Louis Guy didn’t know he was shooting at cops. Drug dealer or no, unless he had a death wish, it’s unlikely that a guy would knowingly fire at police officers when he had nothing in the house that was particularly incriminating. Unless we learn more, the simpler explanation is that he was awakened by armed men breaking into his home and did what he thought he needed to do to defend himself. Especially since that’s exactly what these raids are designed to do: take you by surprise. It’s yet another example — and the second in Texas in five months — of how using this sort of violence to enforce the drug laws not only unnecessarily puts citizens at risk, but puts law enforcement officers at risk as well.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2014/05/16/no-drugs-found-in-raid-that-claimed-the-life-of-texas-police-officer/

This is an issue all Americans can and should rally against. This is a tragedy and travesty for all involved. Police should refuse to carry out unlawful, unconstitutional no-knock warrants. It endangers the police and untold numbers of civilians.

I think I spoke of Jose Guerena here before. I hope each of you will google his name and watch the video on youtube.

Bear in mind he never shot a round at the police, rather he was awoken suddenly by his wife when armed men were seen at the window. His wife and child hid in the closet while he waited in the main hallway with his AR ready to protect his family.

Seems there may have been a doubt whether or not the police were really police as a family members had previously been killed in their home by men posing as police officers, leaving young Jose with few options as to how to respond. Better safe than sorry right? Probably figured if it were really the police, he might survive and his family would be okay. If it were a robbery, perhaps they would have all been murdered.

He was killed by the police and no illegal items were found in his home, though the police tried to assassinate his character by pointing to the fact that he had body armor. Former marines buy tactical shiit sometimes, amiright?

Jose’s brother was part of a drug ring, and since he had a criminal record, he apparently convinced Jose to put numerous of his car’s in Jose’s name to avoid suspicion of drug dealing. It simply diverted attention to Jose’s blue collar income, tying him in as a suspect in the drug ring.

Dumb move by Jose putting the cars in his name, but nothing that should warrant one of these lightning raids. If the evidence gathered from these raids is expected to be so overwhelming ahead of time, then there should be no reason to execute a tactical entry. If you deal that many drugs, you wouldn’t have time to flush them all anyways.

Most of the time, these matters could probably be resolved by having marked units stop the suspect on the way to work or the store, or having detectives or uniformed police officers simply knock on the door and explain that a search warrant is going to be executed.

There are conceivably few circumstances where these raids are necessary. I can think of hostage situations, extreme likelihood of armed resistance/officer safety, murder suspects. Then again, the police should be weighing the advantage of utilizing the element of surprise against kicking in a door in the most armed nation in the world.

A stronger sense of protection from any law enforcement should be evident at the threshold of one’s home. It’s one thing to be stopped and questioned in public, but a court order to search one’s home should require reasonable suspicion caused by overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing.

These no knock warrants or even warrants served SWAT style for suspected low level offenses need to be stopped. It’s not fair to citizens or the officers who are expected to carry them out.

I had this chat with a friend of mine who is a fairly new police officer. I tried to impress upon him the sanctity of one’s home and gave him examples where police departments acted like children trying to justify their new toys they got from a federal grant.

I hope that he is never put in the position to carry one of these raids out unnecessarily. If he is, I hope he declines. An organization that needlessly puts its officers and the citizenry at risk like that isn’t worth working for.

I think most of us here have many of the same thoughts and opinions on a majority of issues facing the U.S. I’ve had all that on the back burner for a year or two. It comes out every once in a while.

Sounds like we’re on the same page.

“though the police tried to assassinate his character by pointing to the fact that he had body armor”

If he was black the police wouldn’t need “body armor” excuse, they could just say the black man was big, monster/hulk/superhuman like with demon piercing eyes to justify killing a teenager for J-walking.

That’s the thing tbone.

He was Mexican. He was killed in his own home and he wasn’t doing anything illegal. No one was fired over it. No one was indicted. It never made national news.

When it comes to police state mentality and brutality, blacks aren’t the only target. It’s equal opportunity.

The press and the black community consistently latch onto the wrong cases to prove their point, even though there are multiple examples they could use that are really outrageous. We have pointed out a few here and you remain silent on them. Seems you prefer to focus only on the hyped up cases that the media feeds you, when the truest instances of police brutality towards minorities (and whites) are often ignored.

The Garner case being the most recent exception as it truly was a travesty that his initial actions were ever made illegal by NY state to begin with.

I really do hope change comes across America. I hope the police use of cameras becomes more widespread. It may not make a difference in every case of police wrongdoing, but it will certainly help most cases. If I were an officer, I think that I would want one to prove my actions were lawful throughout the day.

The statistics are pretty clear.

Black males make up around 6 percent of the U.S. population.

White males make up around 31 percent of the population.

According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports:

In 2012 black males accounted for 37.9 percent of all homicides.

White males accounted for 31.4 percent of all homicides.

Statistically speaking, black males have a higher propensity to murder than white males.

It begs the question on whether it has anything to do with why black males are killed by the police at a higher rate.

I stated that others here have brought up genuine examples of police brutality and injustice, and you don’t seem to care to talk about those. I don’t understand why.

Although you responded to my post, you didn’t really address the comment at all.

‘The statistics are pretty clear.”

How can they be clear when they aren’t kept by most cop shops?

We’re talking about cop shootings/killings you’re only giving crime rates.

You sound like former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani jumping on the “93 percent of blacks are killed by other blacks” while omitting the comparable statistic for white homicide victims: 84 percent of white victims were killed by white offenders.

Of course black crime rates will be higher when whites are behind the numbers in every way you can imagine including the cops who make the arrests in counties like Ferguson Missouri where black people outnumber white people by about 67% to 31% but 50 white cops vs. 3 black cops.

DUUUUUH, Johnyboy!

Shootings and killings, that’s what we’re talking about and those stats aren’t available silly, again, I ask you WHY?

And still again, to you and your master, what have you learned through all this(besides blaming the media)???

tbonetylr

Your “crime rates” include shyte like this…Black people are 30 times more likely to be arrested when all else is equal.
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/29/opinion/high-time-the-injustice-of-marijuana-arrests.html
“The Racial Imbalance in Arrests
Blacks and whites use marijuana at comparable rates. Yet in all states but Hawaii, blacks are more likely than whites to be arrested for marijuana offenses.

blacks are 3.7 times more likely than whites to be arrested for possession, according to a comprehensive 2013 report by the A.C.L.U.

In Iowa, blacks are 8.3 times more likely to be arrested, and in the worst-offending counties in the country, they are up to 30 times more likely to be arrested. The war on drugs aims its firepower overwhelmingly at African-Americans on the street.”

I agree that the drug laws are draconian and need to be looked at closer. I have stated that many times.

Did your statistics on arrests for possession mention whether the offenders were arrested in conjunction with other charges or strictly for simple possession alone?

I wasn’t talking about crime rates in general in the FBI statistics I cited. I was talking specifically about homicides, in which black males commit the most either by raw numbers or by considering percentage of population.

I didn’t say anything about black on black homicide. If I had, I would say that the thing that makes black on black homicide more alarming than the ratio of victim skin color to offender skin color is the sheer amount of blacks that murder and are murdered each year compared to their low percentage of the population. It is an epidemic.

Out of curiosity, do you think it would be fair to make a generalization and say that most meth addicts are white?

I do.

How about school shooters?

That’s overwhelmingly white males.

Pharmacy thefts?

Whites again.

At a certain point generalizations aren’t racist, especially when they are backed by statistics.

When you ask me what I have learned (which you have never asked me before) what are you referring to?

That’s a rather broad question, but if you elaborate I will do my best to answer.

JHC dumb and dumber, I’m referring to the slew of black teenagers(as young as 12) or not(Eric Garner) being shot dead by cops for alleged minor crimes.

In sports we had 5 NFL St. Louis Rams team members raising up their hands before the game upon dark or spot lighted tunnel entrance in support of Michael Brown(while the Missouri cops got all pissy about it and demanded an apology but of course never got one per Rams coach Mr. Fisher) and now we have…
http://espn.go.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/12023106/notre-dame-women-wear-breathe-t-shirts
“SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame’s women basketball players came out for pregame warmups Saturday wearing “I Can’t Breathe” shirts.
The Irish joined a growing list of teams wearing similar shirts in support of the family of Eric Garner, who died in July after a New York police officer placed him in a chokehold while trying to arrest him.”

tbonetylr

“right?”

You’re avoiding the main topic(cop shooting/killings that go uncounted) as the former NYC mayor avoided the question.

Again I ask, why don’t cops count how many times they shoot their guns and kill people? Why don’t we know how many people(and who) they kill?

Still, other than that(and your famed media blame game) what else have you learned?

johnnyboy
johnnyboy

Sometimes I have a hard time knowing which topic you have switched to.

We began talking about unjust killings by the police when you responded to my post about Jose Guerena. I pointed out that there are certainly instances of wrongdoing by police against minorities as well as whites.

I also asked why you latched onto cases that didn’t really help your cause and ignored others which are clear examples of police brutality.

You vaguely alluded to “the statistics” which didn’t address the issue.

Once you brought up statistics I cited murder rates by race from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report which is the most comprehensive and widely accepted report in the country, especially when it comes to murder.

You said I was talking about crime rates, when I was only talking about homicide rates.

Then you wanted to talk about drug arrests and arrest rates in general.

Now you want to talk about the slew of black teenagers(as young as 12) or not(Eric Garner) being shot dead by cops for alleged minor crimes.

Which case is that exactly?

http://www.wired.com/2014/12/silk-road-judge-ulbricht-could-kill-witnesses/

“In response to a request from prosecutors, New York district court judge Katherine Forrest has allowed prosecutors to keep a list of their witnesses in Ulbricht’s case secret until January 2, the Friday just before his trial begins on the following Monday morning. Her ruling followed a request from prosecutors to redact certain names from the full list to reduce the risk of “harm and intimidation.” They cited the FBI’s account that Ulbricht paid for the murders of six people, including at least one employee who he feared would inform on him to law enforcement. In a letter explaining her decision, Forrest wrote that she was “in no position to find that [those murder-for-hire allegations] are baseless or that witnesses who are known to be preparing to testify against defendant would not be at risk of some retaliatory act.”
