Just about anyone is more effective, but as leaders go, I would say that Putin is a better leader hands down than Obama…but definitely the best leader on the world stage right now is Benjamin Netanyahu…

There’s that Putin love!

By that measure, Kim Jung Un would be the most effective leader. Our presidents are limited by the rule of law therefore none can be as effective as we might like. Certainly we should be careful what we wish for. Do we want an “effective” leader?

Until we develop an autocratic Central Committee style deliberative body or China adopts a truly democratic multi-party legislative system, it will be hard to compare the effectiveness of leadership at the top.

Leon, I know you have unlimited Obammy love…but saying a leader can’t be truly effective because of the rule of law is insincere.

A good leader unites those he leads. Obama has been a divider along political, ideological, and racial lines. This has nothing to do with the rule of law.

A good leader leads by example. Obama has spoken of belt-tightening and sacrifice while golfing and vacationing. His wife pushes inedible school lunches while his daughters eat gourmet. This has nothing to do with the rule of law.

I good leader rises above the pettiness. Obama tells us his son would look like Trayvon. This has nothing to do with the rule of law.

This list can go on and on and on.

Obama is a poor leader… as he is neither good nor effective… and a good leader can be effective and still operate within the boundries of the rule of law.

CH. Are you assuming I think of Slap Happy Obammy as anything other than a poor leader? You know what they say about assuming. 🙂

I just lack Obammy Blame Syndrome (OBS) aka Obammy Derangement Syndrome (ODS).

Of course I rarely give any president too much credit, or blame; as they often do very little to affect us in our day to day lives, many things that do happen were set in motion long before any given president takes office, and presidents often have to backtrack on their promises once they get into office and discover ground truth.

Not to mention all the politic$ backdoor deals, handlers, hidden agendas, and the general public’s willful ignorance and general apathy.

If he’s resigned to filling the seat and not much else, the least he could do is not make biased statements on situations that all the facts haven’t been established in yet.

Also, if he could not focus the efforts of the revenue service against Americans who disagree with him politically, that would be pretty awesome too.

Wonder if any juicy morsels were found yet in those Lois Lerner e-mails that were supposedly unrecoverable.

Good point. Maybe one of those emails contain a copy of his real birth certificate!

How can a black non-American Muslim man be an “effective” leader to white American redneck anti-gay(but closeted) men who hate black men? That’s almost like expecting Chickenhead to be able to satisfy Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Coco, or even Jen Selter…

tobonetylr: Too easy. He’s white and he’s right (approaching fascist)..

Don’t you watch Australian-Saudi owned FOXNEWS (America’s news!)?

“Please explain how “Putin is better leader hands down.”

Easy.

Putin is looking out for what is best for Russia. He is calculating and thoughtful.

Obama is not looking out for what is best for America… even in small personal acts that cannot be blamed on his handlers.

While Obama’s footnote in history will be that he was the first half-white president, Putin will likely have statues erected in his honor… if his plans work out.

The question of current leaders’ effectiveness will have to be settled by future historians. Maybe they will be able to figure out how much wealth Putin had been able to set aside for himself while leading his country into crippling economic sanctions just as the prices of their main source of revenue, oil, is collapsing.

“Easy. Putin is looking out for what is best for Russia. He is calculating and thoughtful.
Obama is not looking out for what is best for America…”

You’re repeating much of what was said during the Cold War and look what happened there dummy. Don’t you ever learn anything? Gorbachev was “looking out for what was best for Russia” too dummy.

It was said that Reagan/America was at a disadvantage because of its democracy and look who won the Cold War dummy. Let Putin keep running his shyte country without checks/balances and we’ll see what happens again dummy(or was that dumber)? Chickenhead ~ getting dumber by the day!

Americans are grovelling in front of the Chinese. Without China, America wouldn’t be able to survive. Maybe arrogant white man should thank China for once?
