“As a result of our investigation, and in close collaboration with other U.S. Government departments and agencies, the FBI now has enough information to conclude that the North Korean government is responsible for these actions,” the FBI said in a statement Friday.

President Obama:
Obama promised the government will respond to the attack. “They caused a lot of damage and we will respond. We will respond proportionally, and we’ll respond in a place and time and manner that we choose. It’s not something that I will announce here today at a press conference,” he said.

Sounds more believable than this…..

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea on Saturday proposed a joint investigation with the U.S. into the hacking attack against Sony Pictures Entertainment, warning of “serious” consequences if Washington rejects a probe that it believes would prove Pyongyang had nothing to do with the cyberattack.

The proposal was seen by analysts as a typical ploy by the North to try to show that it is sincere, even though it knows the U.S. would never accept its offer for a joint investigation.”

China says what? But how did they see the movie?

“Obama said North Korea appeared to have acted alone. Washington began consultations with Japan, China, South Korea and Russia seeking their assistance in reining in North Korea. {ID:nL1N0U32BR]

Japan and South Korea said they would cooperate. China, North Korea’s only major ally, has yet to respond, but a Beijing-run newspaper said “The Interview” was not a movie for Hollywood and U.S. society to be proud of.

“The vicious mocking of Kim is only a result of senseless cultural arrogance,” the newspaper said.

After we bomb N. Korea for this cyber attack atrocities let’s be sure to ignore the so-called “Vet Survivors” since they volunteered to die for America/Americans but got lucky and somehow lived. As GOP Coburn says…there ain’t a need that the Vet needs since they’ll off themselves anyway and will do nothing but try to continue to suckoff the gov’t by tripple-dipping. Besides, what do they know and who have they worked with? They’ve worked with alien criminals and have learned how to suckoff more from the gov’t and break American law. God shall strike down upon the leeching DOD workforce(including the leeching contractors) sometime in their lives as we see it or they see it!!!

As of right now there aren’t any official laws for cyber warfare, not that are made public anyways.

Although, the president is apparently leaving all options on the table, my guess is that the U.S. would not respond to cyber warfare with conventional warfare unless it was a large scale attack on our infrastructure (utilities like water or gas pipelines), our core networks, or some type of attempt to crash our financial markets.

I think it’s more likely there will be some sort of mysterious malfunctions in their nuclear efforts like what happened in Iran. I am betting we will sit on our thumbs until this has blown over a little bit and the public has mostly forgotten about it, and then launch attacks quietly. Just a guess.
