Death penalty states(GOP states) running out of execution drugs, particularly Texas, which has only enough to kill one more person, and drug companies are withholding drugs, or asking for them to be returned so they can’t be used to kill.

Scott Walker pushes through “right-to-work” law — and labor takes another hit
In Madison, “right-to-work” protesters joined Black Lives Matter youth to take on Walker and a new police killing
http://www.salon.com/2015/03/10/scott_walker_pushes_through_right_to_work_law_and_labor_takes_another_hit/
“Heartening, to see the Capitol that was the site of the 2011 uprising that kicked off a wave of protests against austerity, injustice and inequality filled once again with protesters chanting, singing, holding signs. To see people who were part of that uprising, like Mandela Barnes, now standing in the Legislature as elected officials, denouncing Gov. Scott Walker and the Republican Party’s push for what is popularly known as “right-to-work,” despite having little to do with rights at work. To see a youth-led protest fill the Capitol rotunda with the chant that “Black Lives Matter.”

…I am writing about these things together not simply because they happened in the span of a few days, but because their histories are deeply linked. As Jennifer Epps-Addison of Wisconsin Jobs Now tells Salon, “This generational poverty that is being inflicted, particularly on the black community in Milwaukee, is a form of state violence that desensitizes the rest of the Wisconsin community to these killings, and makes the rest of our state see a justification in these police murders.”

And what we now call “right-to-work” laws were spread in part by racist rhetoric that exploited already-existing divisions in order to pass laws that took rights away from all working people…

…The death of Tony Robinson has reminded Madison that even liberal cities are built on a history of segregation and denial of rights to their black residents. Wisconsin, Epps-Addison notes, has the highest incarceration rate for black men in the entire country. And, she points out, the systemic divestment from schools and services in communities of color is itself a form of state violence.

That’s why Wednesday’s event, she emphasizes, will not just be a rally. It will include direct actions targeting employers engaged in wage theft and demanding the immediate release of people who are incarcerated simply because they cannot afford to pay fines. “Our march really is on both, on the institutions that perpetuate these systemic problems, the corporations that benefit from them, and Governor Walker himself,” she says.

It will not be an easy fight in Wisconsin or anywhere else — Scott Walker is already trumpeting his victories over union workers as a foreign policy qualification that prepares him to take on ISIS, and Democrats all too often acquiesce to a kinder, gentler version of austerity. But the coming together of movements for justice in the workplace and the home and the streets to demand a comprehensive agenda for a more just state and society is a development worth celebrating even in dark times. There is building going on behind those dramatic photos from the Capitol.

To move forward, Epps-Addison says, “We fundamentally believe we can’t bring back progressive power in Wisconsin by giving people a Republican-like agenda. What we need to do is make our case and build relationships between working-class white folks outstate, between communities of color in Milwaukee, Madison and Racine, to understand that we’re all in this together, and that these forms of institutional classism and racism impact everyone.”

The government demands control over so many things… from soft drink size to unpasteurized milk to lemonade stands to pointing fingers like a gun because of its life-threatening danger… yet they fret because they have no way to kill someone?

How about next time there is a big heroin bust, they send a couple keys off to Texas.

Mainlining a gram of pure smack will put down just about any inmate… and, if not, give him another gram. The War on Drugs brings in an endless supply… and cuts out pharmaceutical company liability (and profits).

Math indicates a single brick of confiscated China White with fentanyl would solve Texas’ problem for the next 30-40 years. Why beg the pharmaceutical companies for pentobarbital and then whine around that you can’t get it?

Seems like another non-issue… something that both Tbone and Rachael Madcow are good at chasing down.

“Sorry, CH. I didn’t see one specifically for tranny hairstyles.”

I am highly fuckking offended you would say such a thing.

Do you think I cannot do my own research into what hairstyles are fashionable for sweet, sweet kimchee-eating trannies with lithe little bodies and a petite little cack tasting of last night’s soju and garlic-breath ajushi?

Next, you will say my 9 year-old girlfriend is nasty because she has the body of a 12 year-old.

Weaponized Driveway via clam shells thanks to U.S. Military Waste…
Delaware Man Accidentally Weaponizes his Driveway with Mustard Gas
http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/208193212.html

But there still is the Pueblo chemical depot and Bluegrass army depot gull of chemical weapons. It will take 5 billion $$$ to clean it up by 2019 still leaving hazardous material.

Ooops, I forgot the 2012 Camp Minden BOOM BOOM in NW Louisiana.
http://www.examiner.com/article/camp-minden-off-limits-until-after-cleanup-military-explosion-statement
“Camp Minden Training Site (CMTS) is Louisiana National Guard’s (LANG) newest military training site.

In 1941, the Federal Government acquired 15,868 acres of farms, farmland and private lands to construct The Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant (LAAP).

In January 2005, that entire area that had belonged to the U.S. Government as LAAP totaling 14,995 acres was deeded to the State of Louisiana under control of the Louisiana Military Department.”

But in Oct. 2014 the plan was to open burn the explosives away…

All emissions from a single 10 ft x 25 ft burn tray
Maximum Hourly Burn Rate: 22,000 lb/hr
Maximum Daily Burn Rate: 80,000 lb/day
Maximum Annual Burn Rate: 15,000,000 lb/year

…even though locals(55% black/poor community) wanted an incinerator built.

Voting easier?
In the last 5 years there have been 395 bills introduced to limit voting rights. By the 2012 election 19 states(RED) passed 27 restrictive voting measures. But, the BLUE state of Oregon is the 1st to have automatic voter registration instantly adding 300,000 voters agnostically.
http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/oregon-leads-nation-in-facilitating-democracy-415192131612
“New state law is nation’s first in years to make voting easier
Oregon Governor Kate Brown, formerly Oregon’s secretary of state, talks with Rachel Maddow about a new law to use the DMV to automatically register citizens to vote, making the process more convenient, more accessible, and less partisan.”

“The argument that folks have used against the bill is that this will increase progressive or Democratic voter registration,” Brown said. “If you look at Democrats and progressives, they do a good job or registering people to vote. This bill is much more agnostic. It will register people throughout the entire state. I think that’s a good thing.”
http://funderscommittee.org/node/3423
“Even without this new law, Oregon has been a leader in voter participation. In the 2014 midterm election, 53.5% of registered voters in the state cast ballots – a particularly high number for a non-presidential year in a historically partisan state. In 2014, the state was fifth in voter turnout, behind Maine, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Alaska. All of those in the top four, except Alaska, allow for same-day voter registration. (Alaska does permit same-day registration during presidential elections.)

“People didn’t fight for our right to register to vote, they fought for our right to vote,” Brown said. “We want to treat our citizens as customers.”

“By the 2012 election 19 states(RED) passed 27 restrictive voting measures”

Technically, voter ID laws are “restrictive”…

…but it appears Oregon Democrats just passed the mother of voter ID laws… assuming the driver’s license there has a picture ID.

What a cute double standard.

tbone says “In the last 5 years there have been 395 bills introduced to limit voting rights.”

Some folks believe that limiting voting to one per person and only allowing folks eligible to vote actually protects voting rights. 😉 (Unlike the lady poll worker in Ohio who voted seven times.)

I’d ask tbone to back up his claim by providing evidence in the form of a friend who was actually denied the right to vote in an election because they didn’t have a government-issued ID; but he’d probably ignore that and start blaming Bush again…

The nice thing about non-abelian anyon processing is that the braid groups seldom decohere so z-vector reconnects in the fragment moat are almost completely unnecessary.

That means less time spent on noumena chain reassemblies and more time lighting candles.

Actually, I can erase that photo from the link in case you thought the only thing worse than an easily traceable global avatar with personally identifiable information was an easily traceable global avatar with personally identifiable information and your picture on it.

Or you can leave it up as a meta-avatar.

ChickenHead

Liz, the picture of my Great Shrine to Liz’s Previous Brief Gravatar has been deleted.

I am going to need some time alone.

…and, yes, I likely could hack Hillary’s server (if it were still on-line)… but governments, especially my American government, are funny about that. I prefer to live in Korea because I want to live in Korea rather than because I have to live in Korea… e.g. Snowden Style.

I might suggest that, if I can even be considered a hacker, I am a very white hat hacker.

My last paid “hacking” was for a rather known person who was worried they might be a target of hackers. While they relied primarily on security through obscurity, they made the mistake of mentioning one of their “anonymous” names once in a place that was connected to their real name… and that is all it took. It was an accident not much different than forgetting to change identity when using the same site under two names.

This anonymous name had been used before and I was able to find a trail for it to a number of sites. One of the well-known sites it was used on (certainly with perfect intentions but poor security) had been hacked en masse some years ago, revealing a username and password on a darknet list. Once I had this password, I tried every account under every identity I had collected. Of course, they used this same password for some years on about a third of the sites and accounts (which had all been started at about the same time).

Using this entry, I was able to then get information on everything else… as I searched for “password” and found an email-to-self labeled “passwords” which included all their passwords and account names for EVERYTHING in their life on-line and off.

Why do I mention this? Because any teenage scriptkiddy could have done the same thing.

That is the first thing to look at… but not the last.

I cannot stress enough… if you are not the paying customer, you are the product… and you will be thought of as the product and treated as such.
