“Nobody got in nobody’s way
So eye guess u could say
It was a good day”

This is certainly your favorite song…

…as the grammar, spelling, and word choice so closely reflect your habits.

My favorite line must be, “Let’s all take the guns away”.

I agree. The FBI Uniform Crime Reporting certainly indicates poor people of color are not responsible enough to have them.

Tbone, another win for you in spotting excellent material.

GOP money feeder in trouble…
‘Sheldon Adelson faces new scrutiny as documents challenge his testimony’
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/may/09/sheldon-adelson-macau-testimony-las-vegas-sands
“Casino magnate’s trial remarks raised more questions than they answered about Las Vegas Sands’ connection with an alleged organised crime leader in China.

But the extent of what is at stake for Adelson was evident in the form of the Nevada gaming board official monitoring the case from the public gallery.

Adelson accused Jacobs of “squealing like a pig to the government” and of blackmail in taking his accusations to the US authorities. They include the allegation that Las Vegas Sands paid what amounted to bribes intended to influence the Macau authorities and the government in Beijing and that the casino did business with a notorious triad leader.

The information Jacobs provided to the authorities prompted continuing investigations by the US Justice Department and federal financial regulators. If these allegations are shown to be true, then Adelson’s gambling licences could be in jeopardy because associations with organised crime could prompt action by Nevada’s gambling authorities, always sensitive to Las Vegas’s history with the mafia. That in turn may threaten the huge sums of money Adelson feeds into the Republican party. He is estimated to have spent $150m to try to secure a Republican victory over Barack Obama in the last presidential election.”

“But you’re still too dumb to catch the catchy part of his new song for Baltimore and all his true fans.”

Which catchy part? There were so many.

The opportunist attention grab through bland cliched lyrics which only catch the attention of the lowest and least educated classes who are easily roused though bland cliched lyrics?

The “If there ain’t no justice then there ain’t no peace” chant which was, presumably, not seeking justice for business owners and employees who worked very hard only to have it unjustly taken away by thugs and a blind-eyed government?

The amazing and poetic lines…

“It’s time 2 hear
It’s time 2 hear the guitar play
Guitar play, Baltimore
Ever more”

…because nothing brings peace like hearing the guitar play… a little protip for those fighting ISIS… fewer heavy weapons and more guitar.

How about…

“Does anybody hear us pray?
4 Michael Brown or Freddie Gray”

To answer the question, they do. The shopkeeper who got strong-armed out of his smokes prayed to Shiva the Destroyer to live up to his name.

Next earworm song to be is ‘Baltimore’ because of the “Bridge” or catchy/earworm part that dumbazz EGGHEAD coudln’t finger out.

Prince streamed it live from Baltimore Sunday night, it was fantastic!

[Intro: Eryn Allen Kane]
Baltimore

[Verse 1: Prince]
Nobody got in nobody’s way
So eye guess u could say
It was a good day

At least a little better than the day in Baltimore
Does anybody hear us pray?
4 Michael Brown or Freddie Gray
Peace is more than the absence of war
Absence of war

[Chorus: Prince & Eryn Allen Kane]
R we gonna c another bloody day?
We’re tired of cryin’ & people dyin’
Let’s take all the guns away

[Verse 2: Prince]
Absence of war—U and Me
Maybe we can finally say
Enuff is enuff it’s time 4 love

It’s time 2 hear
It’s time 2 hear the guitar play
Guitar play, Baltimore
Ever more

[Bridge]
If there ain’t no justice then there ain’t no peace
If there ain’t no justice then there ain’t no peace
If there ain’t no justice then there ain’t no peace
If there ain’t no justice then there ain’t no peace

The DPRK General who orchestrated the sinking of the Cheonan has died at the age of 77.

http://news.yahoo.com/north-korea-general-allegedly-behind-attacks-south-dies-052811394.html

A powerful North Korean general who Seoul believes was behind the sinking of a South Korean warship and the shelling of one of its islands in 2010 has died, state media said Monday.
Kim Kyok-Sik died on Sunday of respiratory failure while suffering from an unidentified type of cancer, according to Rodong Shinmun, the newspaper of the North’s ruling Workers’ Party. He was 77.

I’ve always wondered who the North blamed for the sinking of the Cheonan. If it had been the South in a “False Flag” attack, why no follow up? Chinese pirates? Phillipino immigrants? Japanese Ultra-Nationalists fighting for Dokdo/Takeshima?

Of course his name just lends itself to a Chickenhead Limrick. Take it away, CH!

SENATOR CRITICIZES NATIONAL GUARD SPONSORSHIP DEALS WITH NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, NASCAR, and PGA TEAMS/EVENTS.
Don’t get all giddy when these places/sports complexes/fields/auditoriums pretend they care about waving the flag on your behalf. The secret Defense $$$ Dept. tentacles reach out even to the high school sports level too!
http://abc11.com/sports/senator-criticizes-national-guard-sponsorship-deals-with-nfl-teams/714151/
“You go to a game and you see a team honoring ‘Hometown Heroes,’ and you think it’s some sort of public service announcement, that the team is doing it out of the goodness of their heart,” Senator Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., said to ESPN on Monday. “Then you find out it’s paid for? That seems a little unseemly.”

“The government obviously doesn’t have money to burn,” said Flake, who also said he’s sending a letter to the Pentagon this week to ask for specifics on the return on investment of these sponsorships. “I don’t see how paying to give you a shout out at NFL games is a wise use of money.”

“This isn’t, as some might think, payment for unfurling a flag or to welcome a soldier home on the field,” National Guard spokesman Rick Breitenfeldt said. “This is more about spending for marketing and advertising, for signage, for website takeovers.”

“We have hundreds of [sponsorship agreements] with teams, including minor league baseball and at high schools,” Breitenfeldt said. “We have found that spending in sports to help us recruit in our 18-24 demographic works out for us.”

“Part of the criticism arose from the fact that the National Guard couldn’t prove any return on its investment in recruiting.

An Army National Guard spokesman told the Washington Post in September that it was more than $100 million short in funding and would cut back on training to save money.”

Records outline sex assault case against GOP Vermont senator
http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/local/vermont/2015/05/08/outside-courtroom-sen-mcallister-arraignment/26974321/
ST. ALBANS – A Vermont state senator has pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of sexual assault and three misdemeanors of prohibited acts, the charges arising from what police describe as a sex-for-rent scheme involving several unwilling tenants.

Prosecutors allege Sen. Norman H. McAllister, R-Franklin, over a period of several years sexually assaulted two women who were his tenants and employees, and that he attempted to solicit a third woman. That woman called police this week, launching a fast-moving investigation that by Friday was reverberating throughout the state capital of Montpelier.

The allegations, explained in sometimes graphic detail in court papers, shocked the governor and McAllister’s Statehouse colleagues, several of whom witnessed his arrest outside the Capitol on Thursday evening.

McAllister, 63, of Highgate was arraigned shortly after 11 a.m. Friday in Vermont Superior Court in St. Albans. He was charged with three counts of sexual assault and three of prohibited acts. The charges carry a possible maximum sentence of life in prison.

The charges allege that McAllister sought sex instead of rent payments from two women, neither of whom wished to participate. The authorities also say that McAllister, a longtime dairy and goat farmer, told at least one of the women that she could make money for herself and for McAllister and reduce her rent payments by having sex with Mexican farm workers. The woman refused, and McAllister dropped the issue, court papers state.

Court papers also describe a third victim, whom McAllister is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting since 2013.

Police on Monday afternoon used the woman’s testimony to secure a warrant for a wiretap.

During a recorded conversation Monday, police said McAllister reaffirmed his rent-for-sex proposition and said the woman’s son would be permitted to stay in the trailer. But the senator refused the woman’s request to help her get out of a traffic ticket, the affidavit stated.

“Guys get prosecuted for doing that,” McAllister said, according to police.

From a separate recorded conversation, police learned that McAllister might have had a similar arrangement with a relative of the first woman. The state police interviewed the second woman Tuesday at the St. Albans barracks, where she said she moved into a trailer in Franklin owned by McAllister in December 2012, and also worked on the farm.

The second woman said that from the start of her employment, McAllister “would ask her for sexual favors in exchange for her continuing to live and work at the property.”

According to the affidavit, McAllister and the second woman engaged in sexual acts several dozen times from 2013 to this May, some of which caused her “physical and emotional pain.”

Police also allege that McAllister asked the second woman if she would be interested in traveling with him to several farms in the Richford area to have sex with migrant farm laborers in exchange for cash. McAllister said he and the woman could split the profits, but she refused the offer, court papers state.

Third victim…”

McAllister disputes resignation decision
http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/politics/2015/05/11/shumlin-senator-mcallister/27115839/
MONTPELIER – Two members of the Senate said Monday that Sen. Norm McAllister was expected to resign in the wake of charges of sexual misconduct. But he differed on their assertions.

Lt. Gov. Phil Scott said Monday morning that he expected McAllister to resign — and the day passed without a formal resignation letter.

“I received word earlier today that Sen. McAllister will be submitting his resignation to me within 24 hours,” Scott said, adding that he had yet to speak directly with the senator.

McAllister, for his part, said he was undecided on what’s next as he faces criminal charges that carry up to life in prison.”

GOP tactic is to get in the way, block and lick camera during their wanna be president’s(Rand Paul) speech

Though Rand Paul(nor any other GOP’er) hasn’t a back up plan for when/if the supreme court shoots down Obamacare, even though Rand Paul said he would(in February) have one by now or before the supreme court decides in June.

After the court said NSA spying was wrong(THANK YOU HERO SNOWDEN) and congress/senate has many important things to do they still waste time on ROE vs. WADE or attempting to overturn it. They lost a vote recently but put forth another one which would require women to put in writing which family member raped them or that thy rape was reported to the police ~ and then be placed on a 3 day required waiting list for thy abortion. 11 anti-abortion/GOP states have passed 37 bills this year in an attempt to close all clinics/close all female private parts.

http://deadstate.org/rand-paul-aid-caught-on-video-licking-camera-lens-of-liberal-opposition-group/
“It’s okay to dislike the opposition, but as demonstrated by a member of Rand Paul’s campaign team, some people have a ‘unique’ way of showing it.

During a townhall event in Londonderry New Hampshire, Paul’s political director for the state, David Chelsey, sensuously licked the camera of a researcher sent by American Bridge, a left-leaning opposition group – as he was filming.”

Some South Koreans are unhappy that the new Avengers movie didn’t show the best of Seoul.

I didn’t see the movie, but they have to realize that filmmakers don’t choose a location just to showcase it for marketing promotion. They choose a location that provides the background and atmospherics they envision for the scene. From what I know of the story of the movie, there was nothing that called for special attention to Korea or Seoul in it. I imagine the scenes could have been shot in any of a dozen similar cities around the world.

BTW, there was similar anticipation a few years ago for the Bourne Legacy movie because some of it was shot on location in Seoul. But in the final product most of the extended action was shot on the gritty urban streets of Metro Manila in the Philippines. The Philippines motorcycle chase scenes are what people will remember. The Korean scenes, not so much.

And his complaints about places like Baltimore, controlled by Democrats for the last 40+ years, seem to indicate he doesn’t like the “Progress” they have made, or the ROI on tax dollars received.

Even his complaints about the NFL seem to aimed at Barry’s lack of acceptable fiscal performance.

Hyundai Santa Fe death trap for drivers
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/only-3-7-midsize-suvs-perform-well-crash-051034388–finance.html
“The Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee and Hyundai Santa Fe got “marginal” ratings, and the Dodge Journey received a “poor” rating on the test, in which 25 percent of a vehicle’s front end strikes a barrier at 40 mph.

The Nissan Murano and Jeep Wrangler four-door got the highest, or “good,” rating in the latest round of Insurance Institute for Highway Safety small overlap crash tests. The Ford Flex got the second-best “acceptable,” rating in the test, which mimics what happens when a car’s front corner collides with another vehicle or object such as a utility pole.”

JoeC, this is a problem in America.

Due to crony capitalism, it is very difficult for someone to offer a door-to-door nail service, save some small money and set up a nail cart, perform good service, set up a nail stand, perform good service, set up a nail kiosk, perform good service, set up an nail shop, perform good service, set up a nail chain, etc.

Those already with nail chains and nail shops conspire with the government for more regulations, more licenses, more fees, more oversight, more intrusion, etc… and they keep the new arrivals from taking their customers through better or cheaper service.

One result is exploitation of the lowest workers… unofficially on the gray market or officially through unlivable wages and unpleasant working conditions. The workers suffer and the customers get worse service at a higher price.

A shining example is how voluntary freelance prostitution was “off-limits” in Songtan for a long time… but paying an outrageous barfine to Osan’s golf cronies could easily get an underpaid highly-exploited sometimes-forced prostitute while the customer got ripped off.

I just opened a retail shop for my wife’s brother and was reminded that Korea is a dream to set up a small business like that… small expense, little paperwork, short wait, cursory inspection, helpful government workers… and the knowledge that I don’t need a lot of hassle or regulation since, if I provide bad products or services, word will get out quickly in the neighborhood and the problem will be resolved without government involvement.

For those who really want to chase it, the American Dream is in Korea to some extent… and with reasonable taxes and regulatory burdens, it can be done legally… unlike how immigrants have to do it when they go to America just to survive.

One thing is for sure, both Bush and Obama did (have) not had the personal failings which lead to personal scandals which diminished the office of the President. And, Bush and Obama, surely at a minimum, should be well thought of in the family values circle.

Amtrak just cut by GOP congress and GOP’ers are freaking out because the engineer is openly gay whom has called for equality.
Republicans have been hacking away at Amtrak funding for decades — because they would rather privatize the lines, and we know how well that always works out. But this time, they have incredibly bad timing.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/amtrak-crash-political-row-breaks-out-as-congress-prepares-to-slash-millions-from-rail-network-funding-10247186.html
“The crash of the train travelling between Washington DC to New York came just hours before politicians in the capital are due to meet to discuss a budget bill that could see funding for Amtrak cut by millions.

Supporters of Amtrak have been lobbying the House Appropriations Committee, not to reduce funding containing within a broader transportation bill. A draft of the bill would see Amtrak’s funding cut to to $1.13bn from the $1.4bn it typically receives annually, Politico reported.

On Wednesday morning, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the government had sent a letter to the committee urging it not to cut funding to Amtrak.

“There is clearly more that can be done when we’re talking about a railway infrastructure that is decades-old,” Mr Earnest told CNN.

“If there’s an opportunity for us to make further investments in our infrastructure that would better safeguard the traveling public, then those are investments that we should make.”

This year has seen a flurry of major passenger rail accidents, including a rush-hour collision between a commuter train and an SUV that killed six people in Valhalla, New York, a deadly train-truck crash in Oxnard, California, and an Amtrak crash with a tractor-trailer in North Carolina that injured dozens of people.

Railroad fatalities have also been on an upswing: Last year’s preliminary total of 813 deaths was 20 percent higher than just three years ago”

GOP Right-Wing Heads Explode Because Amtrak Engineer Is Gay
http://www.alan.com/2015/05/13/right-wing-heads-explode-because-amtrak-engineer-is-gay/
“Joe.My.God points to the homophobia rearing its ugly head because the Amtrak engineer is openly gay and has stood up for equality.

Teabagistan is ablaze tonight after the engineer of the Amtrak train that crashed in Philadelphia was identified as Brandon Bostian, an openly gay man who campaigned against Prop 8 while living in San Francisco and for gay marriage after moving to New York.

From Heavy:

Brandon Bostian, 32, has been an engineer for Amtrak since December 2010, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously worked for four years with the company as a conductor. Bostian, originally from Memphis, graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006 with a degree in business management and administration. He also worked as a cashier at Target while in college and previously lived in San Francisco. Bostian is gay and was quoted in a 2012 story by The Midtown Gazette about the fight for gay marriage in New York. He said he moved to New York from San Francisco and had been active in the Proposition 8 fight. “It’s kind of insulting to have to beg people for my right to marry,” he told the newspaper. “I feel like we shouldn’t even have to have this fight.” GotNews, which first reported his name, called him a “gay activist,” and many Twitter users have reacted negatively to his sexuality, claiming he may have been a “diversity” hire by the government-funded Amtrak.”

I’m sure I’ll like something the President does as soon as he fires Joe Biden and resigns. Guys like Barry and Jimmy Carter seem to bring out the worst in Russians and Middle East despots.

You won’t find me singing praise for the shrubbery, either. But I’m not willing to accept “not had the personal failings which lead to personal scandals which diminished the office of the President” until after we find out what the press has been holding back. That takes 5-10 years, generally. Unless it’s a Republican and then they’re all over it.

Agreed no “blue dresses” since about 2001… But dead ambassadors, losing wars that were already won, arming enemies, and dissing allies aren’t something that any President should be doing between rounds of golf.

37. Chicken Head was more honest in his appraisal. The point of this exercise was to cause folks to think for a moment and perhaps gain some perspective. All and all, quite a few bad things happened under most presidents, either due to their own missteps or more often due to circumstances, usually unforeseen. I have seen nothing that would that would rise to the level of requiring Obama.’s resignation.

Boston Bomber sentenced to death(for he’ll fall into the arms of 72 virgin brides) but the Fed. Bureau of Prisons says they ain’t got no drugs(lethal injection cocktail)
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/05/15/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-federal-death-penalty/
“However, it is worth remembering something: The government cannot actually execute anyone right now. The Justice Department effectively has a moratorium on executions because it is reviewing the government’s death penalty policy.

In addition, even if the review immediately concluded that the federal protocol is fine as it stands, there is still the issue of obtaining lethal injection drugs. Federal officials say the Bureau of Prisons does not possess any doses of drugs intended for lethal injections because of this ongoing review.”

But no worries you love needle killers
Nebraska Governor ignores mostly GOP etc…legislators who voted against the death penalty, instead is importing the cocktail from India, made in China…

“On the eve of a second round of debate on repeal of the death penalty, Gov. Pete Ricketts said late Thursday the state has bought all three drugs necessary to carry out an execution.

Ricketts and Department of Correctional Services Director Scott Frakes announced the state now has one of the three drugs in its possession, potassium chloride, which stops the heart, and will receive the other two — sodium thiopental and pancuronium bromide — in the near future.

The sodium thiopental, used to knock out the inmate, and pancuronium bromide, to cause paralysis, were ordered from HarrisPharma, Ricketts said in a news release.

“The functionality of the death penalty in Nebraska has been a management issue that I have promised to resolve,” Ricketts said.

In the past several years, Nebraska and several other states that include sodium thiopental in their execution protocols were forced to buy the drug overseas when the last U.S. manufacturer quit making it in 2010 because of death penalty opposition from customers. The drug was then banned for export by the European Union. It was made in India and China, but defense lawyers questioned its quality.”

Did the engineer suffer a gunshot wound?

Were the controls somehow shot, causing a malfunction that made the train speed up to 106 MPH?

I understand something strange occurred with projectiles apparently hitting the derailed train and supposedly another train in the vicinity.

I just don’t see at this point, why the train was going so fast.

Hopefully the investigation can get to the bottom of it, wherever the truth may lead.
