North Korea Once Again Demands that US and ROK Stop Military Training
Here we go again with the usual rhetoric from North Korea during every Joint exercise:
Anchor: South Korea has made clear that suspending its joint military exercises with the U.S. cannot be a precondition for dialogue with Pyongyang. Seoul revealed the stance after North Korea said that if the United States wants to engage in dialogue it must stop taking part in the joint drills.
Our Bae Joo-yon has more.Report: Seoul’s Defense Ministry said Thursday that ending South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises cannot be a precondition for dialogue between Washington and Pyongyang.
The ministry Spokesman Kim Min-seok told reporters that the joint drill is an annual event of a defensive nature.
Kim’s remarks came shortly after North Korea said the United States must stop its joint military exercises with South Korea if it wants to engage in dialogue with Pyongyang.
Kim said the joint exercises are necessary to prepare against the North’s provocations, adding that they are akin to a student preparing for a test.
Earlier on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the North’s Foreign Ministry said that if the U.S. abandons hostile activities, including the exercises, and chooses to walk a different path, then it would be possible to engage in dialogue and resolve many issues. [KBS World]

[The North Korean dictator warns that war against the the United States and South Korea is in the offing.
Kim Jong-Un announced this week that the country was inching closer to gearing itself up for war with the United States and the “puppet South Korean regime”, according to Russian news site Pravda.
The announcement was made while the North Korean Air Force performed a series of exercises in recognition of the 62nd anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement.
Kim said the exercises were part of a plan to “round off preparations” for war, referring to the United States as “the chieftain of aggression” and South Korea as an extension of the U.S. eager to incite war with the North Korean country.
“Gone forever is the era when the United States blackmailed us with nukes,” Kim said, nodding to the extent of his country’s alleged preparations. “Now the United States is no longer a source of threat and fear for us and we are the very source of fear for it.”]
So, T-BONEHEAD, instead of just copy/pasting another news article, why not include your own thoughts? Are you for or against a war with North Korea? Do you support a draft to keep our boys fighting? Will you be buying War Bonds?

Well let’s see, it’s ironic that Kim, Jong-un doesn’t want USA to prepare for war while Kim, Jong-un and his minions ARE doing so. I fed you a correlating article to GI Korea’s post and you can’t come up with an opinion? The only thing you can do is attack and lecture me about not doing something that you didn’t even do. 🙄

You know, I find a lot of interesting articles about Korea, but when I post them I include an opinion or thought to start a conversation. You copy/paste the link, and a either few or many lines from the article, but nothing from yourself, except your usual rants against Chickenhead.
That’s the difference between posting an article to generate discussion, and posting a slew of articles in a projectile vomit manner. There is a difference, you know.
So, the original article was about the usual bluster from Kim Jong Un, and your article was about Kim Jong Un’s usual bluster, so they were pretty much matching articles. What’s your point? Eventually, you noted the obvious irony of KJU wanting to make war preparations while saying the U.S. and South Korea shouldn’t. Had you said that when you posted the original link you might have gotten an agreement, a disagreement, or no comments. But at least people would know what YOU think.
Not sure what’s up with your comments regarding Putin. The leader of ANY country should put his own country first. Putin does, and that’s exactly his job. Respecting someone and liking someone are two different things. I respect Putin, but I think Kim Jong Un is a blustering buffoon. Putin puts Russia first, KJU puts KJU first.
