Facebook Executive Calls US Military Sexist and Shows Racial Bias

This seems a pretty bold and sweeping statement from someone who has never served in the military.  Until one of these critics advocates for equal physical fitness standards between male and female soldiers their criticism of bias against females has little creditability.  I don’t think there is a more fair organization for women and minorities than the US military:

Corporate America and the military are sexist and show racial bias, a leading businesswoman told cadets Friday at the Air Force Academy.

Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook and author of the book “Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead,” told a crowd of nearly 3,000 cadets that society tells women they are less competent and capable. She described the military as one of “the worst” organizations for bias during a 30-minute speech.

“Women and minorities face barriers white men don’t face,” she said.

Sandberg has become a leading figure of modern feminism with arguments that women should fill half of corporate boardroom seats and men should do half the stay-at-home child rearing. Detractors have said that Sandberg’s Lean In pitch shatters traditional gender roles driven by biology and that her perspective is one borne of privilege, as a wealthy technology entrepreneur.  [The Gazette]

“Until one of these critics advocates for equal physical fitness standards between male and female soldiers their criticism of bias against females has little creditability.”

Huh ❓ So by calling the US Military Sexist and Racially Bias, she isn’t “advocating” for the improvement of…? Or do you want this Facebook Exec. to advocate for equal physical fitness standards between males and females at Facebook ❓

Besides why would she/anyone have to “advocate” for…when you say ~
“…there is(n’t) a more fair organization for women and minorities than the US military”

Sure, since the military “calls for equal physical fitness standards between male and female soldiers” that means the question is over. Kind of like how America has discrimination laws so it doesn’t exist in America anymore 🙄

Facebook needs to watch out for what it does and what its execs say because employment discrimination against veterans is illegal.

BTW, I frankly don’t value opinions of the Military pronounced by people who were unwilling to serve. Even Romney didn’t believe his own story.

When they deign to critisize their betters, I find them at best fatuous. Their gormless pontifications such as that above mark them as people whose companies I would short, were I willing to gamble in stocks.

Q: What’s the difference between Tbone’s thinking and sfhaodhiofwnjosffpjifepojmjfeemjp?

A: kjskdfiojjwffijodcnjcmnccknw44ij;jns

In other news…

Anybody who talks about gender, race, etc., instead of ability, merit, etc., can be easily discounted… and openly ridiculed.

Who gives a fukk what this silly (DELETED) thinks when all she can fret about is what gender or race someone is?

If she championed ability, she would be an impressive step in evolution of society toward excellence. Instead, she blames… well… whatever she blames for whatever problems for whatever losers she is championing for whatever reasons… who cares.

“Women and minorities face barriers white men don’t face,”

Yeah. A (Deleted) lack of trust.

Quotas, special treatment, and political correctness pretty much insure that any woman or minority in the same position as a white man is inferior in intelligence, ability, and/or qualifications… but not in loudness or indignation… as demonstrated by this stupid (DELETED) running her mouth about how special women and minorities are.

Prejudice will go away right about the time those of inferior ability spend more time excelling on their own terms and less time whining that their inferior ways should be accepted by those who are setting the standard.

I can rephrase this with less sugarcoating if it was not clear.

Sidenote: What color do you suppose this bitter (DELETED) is? Judging by her expression, I would say it is black… simply to give an extra level of humiliation to those she uses it on. This statement is not made as joke.

CH: “Who gives a fukk what this silly (DELETED) thinks when all she can fret about is what gender or race someone is?”

Normally I’d agree that no one should give a fukk what this silly (deleted, deleted, deleted) thinks. But in this case, much like the “May I kiss you?” classes, our tax dollars are funding this. We are literally paying to make sure the only people willing to aspire to military leadership positions in this environment are retarded pus*ies. Anyone concerned AT ALL about national security should have some concerns here.

(EDITOR NOTE: Please make your point without the curse words. Thank you.)

Sorry.

Recently, I have been working with a group of self-starting no-nonsense high-achievers who replace almost every adjective and adverb, as well as many nouns, pronouns, and verbs, with swear words… and it is starting to sound natural… and almost impossible to communicate with real words that seem so tame and meaningless… as when somebody says “that ####ing ####”, shared experience and knowledge understands exactly which piece of ####ing #### those mother####ers are ####ing referring to.

“#### that ####ing #### if they can’t get the ####ing #### to do the god####ed ####ing ####!” seems like a perfectly legitimate sentence these days.

CH: “Who gives a fukk what this silly (DELETED) thinks when all she can fret about is what gender or race someone is?”

Allow me to rephrase…

It is most difficult to undergo a great deal of personal concern over whatever contrived proclivities of thought this undoubtedly fine lady may publicly ponder; as her outward interests appear to be counter to common sensibilities; being as they are primarily centered upon promotion of the superfluous matters of gender and race rather than achievement based upon the substance of merit.

Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James has called for an officer corps that’s one-third female.
—– end quote —–

So, the way to end this perceived sexism in the military is to impose sex-based quotas on the officer corps? We’re going to ignore qualifications and merit and just go with gender? Well, THAT will certainly give us the best possible officers, won’t it?

Well, Mr Nivens, it isn’t about accomplishing the mission anymore. The only war that matters is the beltway (funding) war and they have to beat the Navy.

@6 EGGHEAD,
“as demonstrated by this stupid (DELETED) running her mouth about how special women and minorities are.”

For the record EGGHEAD used the “C” word to describe this Facebook Exec. more than once while he’s a contractor for the U.S. military. 🙄

No, the U.S. military couldn’t possibly ever be sexist. 😆

EGGHEAD regularly makes sexist remarks and Liz(U.S. serviceherselfmember) wants him for president. It seems to me there are females within the U.S. military who condone sexism by males.

EGGHEAD says…”Quotas, special treatment, and political correctness pretty much insure that any woman or minority in the same position as a white man is inferior in intelligence, ability, and/or qualifications…”

Do you mean the “special treatment” such as by you calling women the “C” word ❓ White men such as yourself who have treated others(women/minorities) unfairly only think they’re(women/minorities) inferior you EGGHEAD ❗ EGGHEAD has it backwards again 🙄

‘Sheryl Sandberg gets to christen a submarine’
Facebook Exec. pushes U.S. military to “Lean In” ❗
EGGHEAD and most others here need to take on the personality of Sheryl Sandberg 💡
http://money.cnn.com/2015/11/12/news/companies/sheryl-sandberg-submarine/
“Her selection is merited in her own right. She’s there because of what she has accomplished. She’s not there as a partner or spouse.’

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and Navy Secretary Ray Mabus have both praised her work with the military, and it was Mabus who chose her as the sub’s sponsor.

Women who christen ships are known as sponsors; they are said to “imbue” a vessel with their unique personalities.

Sponsors, who christen the ship, are always women but traditionally they have been the wives of senior officers or politicians with close ties to the Navy.

The ship is then said to take on the personality of their sponsor.

The Navy had a ban in place on women serving aboard U.S. submarines, which it reportedly abolished in 2010.”

What amazes me the most is the absolute inability of so-called “liberals” to use basic math, basic logic, or even be consistent between conversations.

It’s really sad; because in a few years, they won’t be able to find anyone in government willing to pay for their vices. They’ll need to leave their “safe spaces” and find a job. And they’ll get fired for being delicate snowflakes.

Army Lieutenant General Ron Lewis FIRED ❗ I think there is more to this “misconduct” than anyone knows. Hmmm, could it be sexist or racist misconduct 💡
‘Pentagon chief fires military assistant, cites misconduct allegations’

“WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter removed his senior military assistant, Lieutenant General Ron Lewis, from his position on Thursday over allegations of misconduct that Carter learned of this week.

Carter has referred the matter to the inspector general of the Defense Department, he said in a brief statement on Thursday. After the inspector general’s investigation is complete, the Army may take action, a senior defense official said.

As senior military assistant, Lewis served as a top adviser to Carter on military matters. He accompanied Carter last week on his trip to Asia.”

Sheryl Sandberg’s flavor of feminism only really applies to upper-class educated women with great ambition.

It is self-important classism disguised with a deceptive layer of feminist equality hype to deflect criticism of its elitist core values.

Her desire to create a “social movement” pushes the aspirations of a very small minority of women while ignoring the conditions of the vast majority of women that she feels are far beneath her.

The dream she pushes is only achievable by a small number of people, men or women, but when women fail, she blames men and systemic sexism rather than the statistical fact that not everyone can be a COO and a billionaire…

…and the ruthless personality traits frequently required for this success are abhorred by most rational members of the fairer sex.

But she is pushing her dream… and that is attractive to those who want to show support for feminism… but only a type that is unthreatening because it is unachievable and, therefore, not disruptive.

So, in the end, she is a tool in keeping the vast majority of women living with various types of inequality that fuels the success of her Lean In partner companies… for which she is paid off with dripping compliments, invitations to speak, and reinforcement of her vanity.

It is hard to consider this without profanities coming to mind.

“For the record EGGHEAD used the “C” word to describe this Facebook Exec. more than once while he’s a contractor for the U.S. military. ”

Good lord, Tbone. If only you knew.

The best part about being a contractor is how we get those young dumb ghetto Army girls right out of basic training and pass them around in the office. Boom! They don’t even see that coming.

They will believe anything you tell them about how you can help their career, get them special benefits, or get them out of difficult duty. And once you have the nude photos, man-oh-man, they will do about anything you tell them… especially when you threaten them with the jail time they will get for… for… whatever charges you make up. They believe anything.

Every now and then, one gets uppity and starts yapping about how she got sexually assaulted… or whatever she wants to call it… somehow expecting the military to take empty accusations from some little tramp seriously.

We just close ranks. Who will anyone believe? The 18 year-old girl with improbable stories about a whole office of contractors huffing ether and taking turns with her on the colonel’s desk?

…or a bunch of upstanding patriots such as ourselves with a long history of serving our country to further the mission and increase readiness?

It doesn’t matter anyway. Half the officers are in on it with us.

Don’t be a hater, Tbone, just because you are missing out on the action.

“Do you mean the “special treatment” such as by you calling women the “C” word”

I’m not sure what special treatment you are referring to. Nobody bought me a cake for my insightful observation. In fact, I got shut down… by another white male, no less… obviously a traitor to his race and gender.

Like this harpie, anybody so openly against me based simply on my race or sex is a bigot and a “C” word… and I have no obligation to be kind and generous to them or their ideas.

I don’t recall getting any special treatment for being white or male… I had to work for my successes just like everyone else… but I didn’t have the easy excuse that the world was against me because I was the wrong sex or color when I failed… and having to fully own the results of my actions made failure a lot less of an option if I wanted to have a high opinion of myself instead of rolling around in manufactured victimhood.

…and, noticing so many white males who are complete losers (lookin’ at you, Tbone), I suspect nobody handed them anything based on their white maleness either.

Who do you blame for YOUR failed life, Tbone? Certainly not yourself. Koreans? The police? Conservatives?

I guess math is still too hard for some folks. There are a lot of folks who complain their education mired them in horrific debt and didn’t prepare them for any jobs available anywhere. Since no one else paid for my university classes and books, I had to take out student loans, too; but I realized I was going to need to pay them back–and so I spent face time with advisers in several majors to determine what matched my interests and my financial goals.

I didn’t receive any scholarships based on my skin color or ancestry. And I haven’t had a secret decoder ring or secret handshake since Elementary School.

“Success” is a subjective term to most folks; but to me it means setting goals, building a realistic plan to achieve them, and executing on that plan. It’s not about a final resting spot, it’s about a direction. YMMV.

Those who fail to plan, to put it tritely, plan to fail. We know which team we play for…

“I don’t think she is a C Word because she is female. I think she is a C Word because she is a bigoted, elitist C Word. That is not sexist.”

Look at you attempting to backtrack you misogynist ❗ You can say you meant this/that while at the same time use all CAPS and be a sexist/misogynist.

It’s not just that you called Sheryl Sandberg the “C” word but it’s how you called Sheryl Sandberg the “C” word…by using all CAPS showing your intent to reduce and demean Sheryl Sandberg to reinforce that Sheryl Sandberg is a lesser being whose only value is Sheryl Sandberg’s “C.” EGGHEAD is a GOPer hater(of women, minorities, ect…) who is into shaming and controlling women’s bodies and sexuality. EGGHEAD’s history here is clear, he hates women. He has used this type of language toward women numerous times.

GI Korea has reprimanded EGGHEAD in how he has attacked other people’s family and/or mother but GI Korea quit censoring EGGHEAD when he attacks other people’s mother. For the record, I don’t recall EGGHEAD ever attacking the father of anyone. ❗ Hmmm, I wonder why it’s only mothers ❓

GI Korea DELETED EGGHEAD’s use of the “C” word, but why when as EGGHEAD says he only meant that Sheryl Sandberg is a “bigoted elitist”? If GI Korea believes EGGHEAD he should replace “DELETED” with EGGHEAD’s full spelling of the “C” word, here here ❗

It’s now time for EGGHEAD and his minions to take on/adopt the personality of their sponsor Sheryl Sandberg for her christening of the submarine. 😎
