Korea Finder 16-13
|Welcome to Korea Finder. The way this contest works is that each week a new image is posted and the first reader to accurately describe or locate the image gets a point. At the end of the year the reader with the highest amount of points will win a Korea related book of their choice.
For this week who can tell me where the below statues are located at?:
2016 Korea Finder Leaders Board
- Comfortable Chairs – 5
- Smokes – 2, Dd – 2
- MTB Rider – 1, JoeC – 1, Setnaffa – 1
These statues are behind Deoksugung in Seoul, by the Methodist Church, Habib House, and the Seoul City Art Museum.
@comfortable.chairs, well done! For anyone who has walked along the outer wall of Deoksugung Palace in Seoul you would have come across these highly noticeable statues. The statues were made by Yi, Hwan-kown who was inspired to make these statues of a Korean family that looked like kimchi jars seen across Korea.
Well, at least I may have encouraged the leader in this contest to up his game… 😉
