Human chain protests against pay system

Members of the Korean Public Service and Transport Workers’ Union form a human chain around the building housing the finance ministry in Sejong, south of Seoul, on June 3, 2016, to protest against the introduction of a performance-based pay system. The government is pushing the system as part of economic and labor reforms. (Yonhap)

How dare they pay people better based on skill, attention to detail, and customer service!!! Everyone should be rewarded for mediocrity and slovenly, sullen, self-centered actions. Next thing you know, they’ll start requiring bus stations to have doors that work, heaters, air conditioners, working payphones that accept coins or cards, and no-smoking zones!!
