Thai is a nation, not a race.

Technically, “her family” didn’t fight in the Revolution any more than my family grew rice for a thousand years.

She married into that and, had she been a white Republican man, no pearl would have remained unclutched as the massed screamed Cultural Appropriation and demanded a full appology.

The guy’s response was clever… but not delivered in a clever way… a perfect example of the anger and hate in politics.

Reagan could have delivered the same line with a gentle voice, a smile, and no trace of sarcasm… and gotten applause.

In the end, more manufactured racism and double standards for men/women, white/brown, liberal/conservative, etc.

Extremely racist because the guy who said it is a Republican.

“Senior Analyst @ Whitman Insight Strategies ”
Says a lot for that company when their lead guy doesn’t even know the definition of racist. Unless he’s actually their Senior Analist. I’d buy that.

F Tw4tter, F the Dems, and F Matt McDermott.

Repubs never have been good with comedy; a quick look at the primetime political comedy show lineup confirms it.

I’m good with that though because “how good of a clown are you” shouldn’t be a factor in your ability to hold a government position.

Unfortunately too many Americans can’t tell the difference between a good joke and a good point.
