An egg wholesaler looks down at empty trays of egg at his storage facility in Seoul on Dec. 27, 2016. They sell domestically produced eggs in the commissary, and I usually prefer to buy them. But a few days ago, the price for a dozen Korean eggs was $2.67 and only 99 cents for a dozen American eggs. So I opted for the American eggs.
Sounds like the whole Korean egg industry is just a bunch of shellouts.
On the topic of chickens, I wonder why the chickens are much smaller at Korean Chicken Fast Food restaurants compared to Popeyes Chicken on base. The chicken breasts at Popeyes are always at least double the size than any Korean place I have bought chicken at.

I find most breasts on base to be bigger than the Korean equivalent.
The thighs are thicker, too.
And the taste is off.
Haha, so true! lol Everyone knows that the average breast size in the US is much bigger than the average Korean Breasts, even for the males, lol. So its just an Asian thing that applies to chickens too, :chuckle:
