The writer of that article felt the need to add the following comment in brackets to the article:
I wish he/she would have explained what they meant by that.
If most of the country’s nuclear and missile capabilities are buried deep underground or in mountainsides, unless we had detailed maps of their layouts to know where and what to target, how “surgical” could any strike be? Risking aircraft and crews to shutdown entranceways?
A few single target strikes wouldn’t accomplish much. If it were meant to take out their “capabilities” that would require a massive air-raid. Why wouldn’t Kim interpret such an attack as a “preemptive strike on the North Korean regime”?
