Well. It is considered as symbol of women’s right to survive the horrors of war.

War is a sad thing. Even the “good guys” have bad moments.

On Guadalcanal, according to a friend’s father who was there, both the US and the Japanese crucified prisoners.

And all without trying to find out their preferred pronouns or supplying reflective belts to avoid car accidents at night.

I’m not a fan of most statues because they can easily become objects of worship.
