This photo, taken on May 30, 2017, shows a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) launcher installed upright at a golf course in Seongju, about 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul. On the same day, President Moon Jae-in ordered a special probe into what the presidential office called the secret or undisclosed entry of four THAAD launchers into the country under the missile defense system deployed here.
