“My previous students & friends in S. Korea are contacting me to now return to teach.”

Tbone, I think they are still giving drug tests, though… so you are still ruled out… even if they let your HIV infection slide.

Bonus: Your students never cared for you and you had no real friends. Don’t try to BS us.

Also: You even angered the churchers who tried to help you out of a Christian sense of charity.

Nobody wants you back in Korea.

Common modes of HIV transmission:

1. Intravenous drug use/ sharing of needles.

2. Sexual intercourse.

Apparently Korea already tests for number 1, and number 2 doesn’t apply to the demographic in question.

Tbone, I state only fact.

Korean churchers really tried to help you when you had no job, no money, and no future.

They gave you a place to stay. They gave you food. They gave you pocket money.

You were rude. You were demanding. You were lazy. You kept your hand out for more. You gave them absolutely nothing in return… just more burden, more hassle, and a bad taste.

Your students saw you for the buffoon you are. Your employer saw you for the loser you are.

Nobody who knew you wants you back in Korea. Nobody else needs the trouble you bring.

The quality of teachers has gone way up since they started drug testing and degree verification.

There is no place for a perpetual loser like you, Mr. T.

Bonus: I am texting your name to my friend at immigration as soon as I type this; along with a simple explanation… so it doesn’t matter. You will never get a work visa. Problem solved.

Why are you sad about the “Gusts of Popular Feeling” talking about it?

Since you asked…It might be worth noting that so many idiots denied the HIV testing was a form of racial discrimination(i.e. chickenbeheaded), but now it looks like S. Korea doesn’t want its gov’t to be so blunt about it. But as Matt says, we STILL have to wait and see in practice ~ This while Trump seeks to cut funding for AIDS treatments would kill 1 million people…

“…Perhaps one reason for finally abolishing the HIV restrictions is that the new Foreign Minister, Kang Kyung-hwa, was formerly UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights. As noted in this article, she once said, “While travel restrictions are a question of State sovereignty, it must be pointed out that States also have obligations under international law within which sovereign rights may be exercised[. …] In particular, under basic norms of non-discrimination, States must provide compelling reasons for any differentiation in treatment, including in restricting travel for people living with HIV. We know that there are no such compelling reasons.”

Another reason might be that a South Korean representative, Professor Chung Chin-sung, has just been elected to serve as the Korean expert on the Committee for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD); having to admit your own country was ignoring a CERD decision could make for awkward moments at the water cooler…”

Be honest, chickenbeheaded and admit you know nothing about me, or anyone else on this site but you sure do talk a good talk. Let me guess, you asked your buddy Trump to use his Russian hacker friends. lol

Why would you want to go back? You said you hate the country and its peoples.

I don’t hate, I’m not a republican. Now, stop telling falsehoods! Also. I never said I was going back but perhaps after Trump ruins America I’ll have to escape to another country…become a refugee.

You might be right.

Tbone,

My honest advice is to find a line of work in the U.S. that you enjoy and put your all into it. Be mindful that most people don’t enjoy talking politics in the real world as much as we do here, especially when they have work to do.

However, if English teaching in Korea is your passion, then go for it. If you can’t in Korea, then look into other countries. Perhaps China will open itself up to you.

Don’t let your interactions here define you or your self worth. Your success or failure doesn’t depend on any of us here.

On a side note, are you posting from two devices/IPs or is someone imitating you again?

Remember “Tom?” There were two Toms over the years, maybe more. The super-troll Tom, and a couple of lightweight Toms.

I think there are two Tbones these days. Convict BONEHEAD, recently returned from a stint at the Graybar Hotel (Which is why we lost him for so long) and Copy-Cat BONEHEAD, who first tried variations of your ChickenHead name before using Tbonety1er, then Tbonetyler.

Make you wonder what’s going on in their minds. Why do they do it?

Whichever “Tbonetyler” wants to come to/come back to Korea, here’s an offer that was posted about 4 months ago:
