Are we all getting the same advertisements? I’m assuming it’s tailored for us but I’m not sure why at the upper left I have a clickbait image of two creatures that look straight out of Monsters Inside Me on Animal Planet.
Anyone else have that?

Thanks, GI. I have no idea when I searched for something like that. Maybe it was the kids. LOL
Another example of journalist stupidity:
https://www.bustle.com/p/how-will-the-military-enforce-trumps-transgender-ban-experts-say-the-decision-is-career-ending-72720
The first paragraph:
“Sixty-nine years to the day after President Truman desegregated the military, President Trump took to Twitter to undo another former Democratic president’s legacy on the armed forces: an Obama-era directive allowing transgender individuals to openly serve.”
Ah yes, somehow a decision made to reverse something initiated only last year is implied to reverse a decision made 69 years ago. Horrors!

Here’s a thought. Obama was president for eight years. He made the decision to allow transgenders into the military in the last few months of his term (knowing full well any repercussions would take too much time to develop and impact him of influence the election).
If he truly believed this to be a sound decision, wouldn’t have have implemented the policy a wee bit more than three or so months prior to the election of his replacement and the end of his term?

I’m just going to continue to down vote both BONEHEADS until they both go away.

Not sure why you’re stealing the original BONEHEAD’S name, your writing style is all wrong, if no less annoying.

Obama slapped the transsexual troops on the military as a headache for the next President to have to deal with. Gay, bi, straight, it didn’t matter, because they all had to meet the standards of their gender. Transsexuals get to pick and choose. “Today, I’m a girl, so I only have to do X number of pushups, sit ups, and have this time to complete the run. Tomorrow, I’m a boy, and get to apply for this position or that one.”

That’s not what the country needs. It needs people who can do a difficult job under difficult conditions. Transsexuals don’t bring enough to the table. Diversity for diversity’s sake is worse than useless. Kind of like both BONEHEADS here at ROK Drop.

The military’s transition-related health care costs amounted to less than 10 percent of what it spent on erectile dysfunction prescriptions in 2014.

What is the cost of getting rid of very well specialized, trained military service transgender people? Is it exponentially larger than just taking care of them?

Liz
Liz

There are more costs to forcing transgender people into the service than the price of the mastectomy/immediate surgery. Transgenders (between the ages of 18 and 44) have a suicide rate attempt of 50 percent. That’s one in two. They are virtually assured to require constant mental evaluation and counseling. This has been the experience of the past year. There can be an exception to policy to accept the outliers of all outliers (those who have done the transition and proven to be mentally sound…and it is noteworthy that statistically surgery actually appears to increase the likelihood of a suicide attempt**), but that shouldn’t change the policy.
The need for constant counseling and evaluation cuts into training time and deployment availability.

While Trump and ‘Mooch’ were creating diversions — lawmakers heard explosive testimony in Russia probe
http://m.huffpost.com/uk/entry/uk_597ee55ce4b02a4ebb7675a6
“One of the most important congressional hearings yet in the Trump-Russia probe took place Wednesday, in the midst of one of President Donald Trump’s most chaotic weeks yet.
Bill Browder — once the biggest portfolio investor in Russia but now a leading critic of Vladimir Putin — told the Senate Judiciary Committee how the Russian president needs to lift U.S. sanctions to deliver what he promised to corrupt oligarchs who support his rule.

“There are approximately 10,000 officials in Russia working for Putin who are given instructions to kill, torture, kidnap, extort money from people and seize their property,” Browder testified.

Browder and his attorney, Sergei Magnitsky, blew the whistle on a scam by corrupt Russian officials to steal one of his companies and then illegally claimed back $230 million taxes he’d paid.

U.S. imposed sanctions in 2012 against some Putin cronies involved in the attorney’s death, which a Russian attorney asked Donald Trump to lift in exchange for campaign assistance offered to his son and other top campaign officials.

“Before the Magnitsky Act, Putin could guarantee them impunity and this system of illegal wealth accumulation worked smoothly,” Browder testified. “However, after the passage of the Magnitsky Act, Putin’s guarantee disappeared.”

Putin himself has suffered great consequences under the Magnitsky Act, the hedge fund manager told lawmakers, because the Panama Papers show Putin received some of the money stolen from the scheme exposed by Magnitsky.

“Based on the language of the Magnitsky Act, this would make Putin personally subject to Magnitsky sanctions,” Browder testified.”

Smokes,
Is it a medical necessity for a debilitating pre existing condition or is it a cosmetic surgery?

Either way the military frequently bars people from enlisting with pre existing conditions or does not cover cosmetic procedures.

Should the military pay for liposuction for active duty service members? Should overweight people be allowed to join and then be allowed to have liposuction later?

I listened to an interview with Bill Browder. He did not say one way or the other whether he thought Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russians or made any underhanded deals.

He did say that Fusion GPS, the group that contracted the Pissgate dossier, ran a smear campaign against him as well. He claims that Fusion GPS was employed by the Russians.

Glenn Simpson, founder of Fusion GPS, refused to testify in front of congress a couple weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything since then about whether or not he actually will at any point. I am sure he could clear up a lot.

Kelly NOT fit for White House b/c he failed at Guantanamo Bay ~
Gitmo Attorneys: Kelly’s Aggressive Role at Guantánamo Makes Him “Unfit” to Lead DHS
https://ccrjustice.org/home/press-center/press-releases/gitmo-attorneys-kelly-s-aggressive-role-guant-namo-makes-him-unfit
“General Kelly’s aggressive oversight of the illegal military prison at Guantánamo Bay disqualifies him to head the Department of Homeland Security. Presiding over a population of detainees not charged or convicted of crimes, over whom he had maximum custodial control, Kelly treated them with brutality. His response to the detainees’ peaceful hunger strike in 2013 was punitive force-feeding, solitary confinement, and rubber bullets. Furthermore, he sabotaged efforts by the Obama administration to resettle detainees, consistently undermining the will of his commander in chief. His temperament and actions make him unfit to lead an agency that currently holds tens of thousands of immigrants, including many fleeing violence and many in long-term indefinite detention.
Kelly’s recent vow to end “political correctness” in U.S. national security policy is a thinly veiled endorsement of policies and practices that are illegal and immoral, including torture and racial and religious profiling. His statement is a clear warning sign, and the Senate must reject his nomination to preserve and protect the rule of law…”

According to the medi-sci-psy smarties it’s to treat Gender Dysphoria and seems to be pretty much covered in major plans: http://tinyurl.com/CHLovesTrannies (its a real link 😛 )

“Either way the military frequently bars people from enlisting with pre existing conditions or does not cover cosmetic procedures.”

Conditions that would prevent someone from keeping with a performance oriented standard using relevant metrics applied equally to all (or maybe per MOS) should disqualify you. It’s not cosmetic so moving on… ➡

“Should the military pay for liposuction for active duty service members? Should overweight people be allowed to join and then be allowed to have liposuction later?”

Again you hint at this being cosmetic which makes me think you either don’t understand the issue or you’re just red-necking. Let’s look at your example anyway. First off the military isn’t paying, Tricare is, guess what you get in your LES every month when you have Tricare? A line item in your deductions, paying into Tricare. The Tricare that’s given to subsidize your pay, which means you get hit twice on insurance you all seem to think you have a say in how they use it. :hmm: Pertaining to a current SM yes they should be allowed to get lipo. Leans em up and get’s em back to standard. No you shouldn’t be allowed to join and then get it because that’d be like me applying to Microsoft not knowing how to program but I plan to take advantage of their employee education benefits to learn how to program. 😐

Don’t forget that Tricare covers family members as well. Are they banned from using the insurance their SM pays for too? I really can’t explain this any clearer, but I’ll continue to try as long as people keep coming up with what seems to be rationalizations for their distaste hatred of a subset of the population. 🙂

Not every transgender wants to completely transform.
So, Smokes, what if a transgender person enters the service and then changes his/her mind and wants to go through the process of surgical transition (making him/her undeployable for what could be a long, long while undergoing the process).
What happens then?
I think you are wrong about the health coverage for transgender surgery. Even Obamacare doesn’t cover it.

Liz wrote: “what if a transgender person enters the service and then changes his/her mind and wants to go through the process of surgical transition (making him/her undeployable for what could be a long, long while undergoing the process).

I think it should be looked at from a grander perspective of “What should be done when a SM will be unavailable for an amount of time that’s been determined to be operationally excessive due to medical reasons?”. This includes injuries, pregnancies, substance treatment, misc. procedures. Would it be reasonable to say to put them into “Medical Pause” status where they don’t accrue time served nor do they accrue pay? When they come back they resume normal pay and time served. 😕

“I think you are wrong about the health coverage for transgender surgery. Even Obamacare doesn’t cover it.”

I’ll admit I very lazily linked coverage options but the wife and I were about to watch some GoT so…. :silly:
I would need to actually look at those results and see but on the surface there was information. I’d hardly use the ACA these days as a litmus for anything other than the stupidity of Americans, their government, and the concept of a 2-party system. Will need to post more on that tonight because I’m sure as hell not filling up my browser history at work with searches for trans-surgery coverage! 😈

johnnyboy

Smokes,

If I interpreted you correctly, you would label the operation as medically necessary? Or is it somewhere between cosmetic and necessary?

Either way, my point is that the military should be able to decide what it pays for medically.

Either by barring someone from joining who intends to have the operation, or by not paying for the operation for existing service members.

If it is cosmetic, the military shouldn’t have to pay for it. If it is a medical necessity, it should be considered a pre existing condition, such as a heart defect, and be a bar to enlistment.

If someone decides they need to transition, tough shiit. They can wait until their contract is up. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that in many cases those same individuals would likely qualify for a mental chapter before they finish their enlistment.

Also, in general, the military should be able to decide what is a distraction and what actually adds to force readiness and lethality. Which column do you think this issue falls into? Do you honestly think allowing transgenders is a net gain for the military?

As far as Tricare, unless I am mistaken or something has changed, single service members don’t pay directly into the system. I don’t ever recall seeing anything Tricare related on my LES until my dependents were enrolled. You guys know any different?

Trump Shows His True Hatred For America and Its History By Calling The White House A Dump.
While speaking to some members at his Bedminster golf club, Trump explained that he golfs at his own properties so much because the White House is a dump.

What if Obama had said that? What if Obama had hired his black “Mooch”(Anthony Scaramucci) as Communications Director who spoke using ‘X’ and ‘R’ rated material like the Mooch=Used Car Salesman?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2017/08/01/trump-thinks-white-house-real-dump/531212001/
By contrast, people who’ve played with Trump on his courses say he praises every detail of his clubs.

“‘Is this not the most beautiful asphalt you’ve ever seen in your life?'” he’ll say of an ordinary cart path,” Golf reported. “At the turn he’ll ask, “‘Have you ever had a better burger?'”

Though Trump may take a lot of “floating mulligans” — ignoring a bad shot, or dropping a new ball without taking a penalty — and though he may have a nasty habit of driving his cart onto greens and tee boxes.”

The trannt thing seems to be a hotbutton item with Smokes. I have known surprisingly eight such people. All DBAs. So maybe it is a mental thing. I don’t ask. I don’t want anyone to tell.

99% of Americans with actual jobs do not want to pay for someone else’s tranny surgery.

That’s not a “red-neck” thing, it’s a “get your greedy paws off my wallet, get a job, and pay for it yourself you pervy wanker” thing.

Perhaps the nuance is too subtle for people who advocate slavery; but there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.

Ye gods what a night… I’d talk about it but my clearance didn’t come with the HR Clinton Protection Plan. 😕

I’ll have to answer those new posts later but here’s an interesting tidbit from https://www.tricare.mil/CoveredServices/IsItCovered/GenderDysphoriaServices

“TRICARE generally doesn’t cover surgery for gender dysphoria. However, active duty service members may request a waiver if their provider deems surgery medically necessary. To be medically necessary means it is appropriate, reasonable, and adequate for your condition..”

Here is a prominent spokesperson for transgenders in service (the Navy SEAL):
http://www.businessinsider.com/meet-kristin-beck-2017-7

Note the before pictures while “she” was serving.
He/she would not have been able to serve in that capacity as a transgendered person. She/he is arguing for the right to serve while simultaneously providing evidence that if she/he had undergone the transformation during the service, that service would not have been possible.

Liz
Liz

From the article: “”In one word, what would you say America is?” Beck asked rhetorically on CNN Wednesday night. “For me personally, I would say that one word is liberty. And with that one tweet, [Trump’s] taken away my liberty and the liberty of a lot of other people. [Trump’s] taken away from thousands and thousands of people the right to personal liberty. That’s not the American way.”

It is astounding to me that a person who served for all those years and in that capacity does not know the difference between a right and a privilege.
I stand by my assertion this should be a disqualifying personality disorder. All the evidence I’ve seen points to it. Transgenders are also 49 times more likely to have HIV. Which, I was astounded to find out, is not disqualifying for service. It’s just disqualifying for deployment. I went to one of those LBGQT sites to read up and they were offended that HIV makes it unlikely to be picked up for selective military schools and training. In their mind it’s discriminatory to use our tax dollars to only select deployable candidates for expensive training at selective schools.

You want to know why there is a military swamp, Smokes? You have it exactly wrong. It is NOT the “higher ups” making an impossible work environment for the express purpose to be able to point and say, “See! Told you this was a bad idea!”
It’s higher ups with an incentive to bow to political pressure to make bad decisions because their careers depend on it.

McGregor has a puncher’s chance just like anyone else who has knockout power, but I doubt an MMA guy can do what the best boxers in the world have failed to do in 49 fights.

Mayweather is one of the best defensive fighters the sport has ever seen. I predict that McGregor will not land many clean shots. He will probably pay for the shots he takes, and we will see McGregor knocked out in the middle rounds.

Trump Begged Mexican President for help! How does WAPO get all these WH Leaks???
Trump’s famous campaign pledge from 2016 election was to force the Mexican government to pay for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/you-cannot-say-that-to-the-press-trump-urged-mexican-president-to-end-his-public-defiance-on-border-wall-transcript-reveals/2017/08/03/0c2c0a4e-7610-11e7-8f39-eeb7d3a2d304_story.html?utm_term=.e32399d158ba
However, a leaked transcript of a phone call between Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto shows that Trump understood that he would never get Mexico to fully pay for the wall — but he nonetheless begged his Mexican counterpart to stop saying so publicly.

Peña Nieto, however, was resistant to this and again insisted that his government would not pay for the wall.
“My position has been and will continue to be very firm, saying that Mexico cannot pay for the wall,” he told Trump.
“But you cannot say that to the press,” Trump insisted. “The press is going to go with that, and I cannot live with that.”

Specifically, Trump told the Mexican president that funding for the wall “will work out in the formula somehow” and that Mexico’s share of the costs “will come out in the wash, and that is okay.”

“For months, Trump administration allies in the right-wing media have alleged that the real conspiracy in the Trump-Russia probe is that former Obama administration National Security Adviser Susan Rice “unmasked” former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s identity after his interactions with Russian government officials.

However, a new report from Bloomberg’s Eli Lake revealed that current Trump National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster didn’t believe Rice did anything wrong when she made unmasking requests for Trump campaign officials who were in contact with foreign agents.

Additionally, conservative journalist Sara Carter on Tuesday posted a copy of a letter that McMaster sent Rice informing her that she could keep her top-secret security clearance(WTF is Jed Kushner’s security clearance going to be revoked or “suspended.”)

This news was enough to send Sean Hannity — one of the biggest peddlers of the Susan Rice “unmasking” conspiracy theory — into a rage.

“What is this?” Hannity wrote in reaction to the news. “Does H.R. McMaster need to go? Susan Rice? Omg.”

Some of Hannity’s Twitter followers, however, were quick to heap scorn upon him, as they mocked him for embracing a conspiracy theory that was debunked by Trump’s own national security adviser(TEEHEE).

Who here is for Trump(against Russia sanctions) or with congress(for Russia sanctions)?

That’s a tough one, Tbone.

On the one hand, Russia is an aggressive bully when it comes to its own interests (as is China). Also, everyone is beating the drum of Russian interference in our election.

On the other hand, most Americans probably don’t care about what Russia does in its own corner of the world. Also, a lot Americans probably don’t believe the official and media forced line of Russian interference. I’m not saying it didn’t happen. I’m just saying everyone gets kind of fuzzy on the specifics when pressed for details.

So, I dunno. Congress feels like they got a win. Trump acts like he could have gone either way on it and been okay. The average American probably doesn’t give two shits about Russia.

That apathy may play into 2018.

Johnnyboy speaks out of both sides of his mouth ~
Below he says…”Also, everyone is beating the drum of Russian interference in our election.”

How can “everyone” be beating the Russian drum when YOU…YOURSELF says…

BTW…check out this Johnnyboy red herring…”most Americans probably don’t care about what Russia does in its own corner of the world.”

You have been living in a bubble F***H**D, as if you didn’t realize there is a thing called Globalization which means Russia will continue hacking America.
“It’s own corner of the world”
You DMF!!!

Here is a Johnnyboy doozie…”Also, a lot Americans probably don’t believe the official and media forced line of Russian interference.”

Who cares about the DMF’s you are part of and support? YOU and them are the MINORITY. Why should the MAJORITY care about you when you are against the MINORITY in COLOR & Civil Rights?

DMF Johnnyboy continues…”I’m just saying everyone gets kind of fuzzy on the specifics when pressed for details.”

No, you are WRONG!!! I am NOT “fuzzy” you bitch!

Johnnyboy lacking upstairs says…”So, I dunno.”

That’s because you’re head is empty!!!

Johnnyboy: “Trump acts like he could have gone either way on it and been okay.”

Really? Since when you DMF???

Johnnyboy: “The average American probably doesn’t give two shits about Russia.”

Perhaps because the GOP wants to strip voting rights from anyone they can. Those “Americans” that don’t vote by choice don’t count and I’m sure there are those that blow off their tongues while not even voting. So to those and whoever else(Johnnyboy?), F***OFF!!!

LAZY POS that Trump ~
Trump’s Taken More Vacation Days To Date Than Obama During Presidency
http://www.ibtimes.com/trumps-taken-more-vacation-days-date-obama-during-presidency-2574250
“Trump was a frequent Twitter critic of former President Barack Obama for his vacation days and golf outings, but to date, Trump has outpaced the former president on both those fronts.

Trump even criticized taking vacations at all.
“Don’t take vacations. What’s the point? If you’re not enjoying your work, you’re in the wrong job,” tweeted Trump in 2012.

Now he’s set to take a 17-day vacation starting Friday. Trump is heading to his private golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey for what his aides are calling a “working vacation.”

By the Washington Post’s count on Thursday, by the end of this vacation, Trump will have taken 53 days at leisure. Compared to Obama’s 15 vacation days at the end of August during his own first term as president, Trump has to date almost doubled the former president’s trips to the links. Moreover, Obama played 17 rounds of golf by the end of August in 2009. Trump has played 33 times — that are known about — before heading to Bedminster.”

Ethnic and racial composition’ of Mueller’s grand jury likely unfavorable to Trump(TEEHEE)!!! Karma is coming for Trump…big time!
http://www.wabcradio.com/2017/08/04/alan-dershowitz-tells-rita-cosby-new-mueller-d-c-grand-jury-racially-and-ethnically-stacked-against-trump/
“Convening a grand jury to prosecute the president is one thing — convening one filled with racial and ethnic groups he has attacked is another entirely.

Speaking on D.C.’s WABC radio station, Dershowitz told host Rita Cosby that impaneling in D.C. “gives the prosecutor a tremendous tactical advantage.”

“The case now can be brought not in Northern Virginia, which is a swing area, sometimes Democrat, sometimes Republican,” Dershowitz said. “The District of Columbia, which is always solidly Democratic and has an ethnic and racial composition that might be very unfavorable to the Trump Administration.”

Rather than convening within the city limits of the district by chance, Dershowitz said he believes the move was intentional…”

Spoke to a former Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force recently. He said when Ash Carter was appointed Secretary of Defense he did not meet with the Chiefs of Staff for his first six months of office. He had no interest in military effectiveness at all, his appointment was entirely to push a leftist socialist agenda. Which is why we saw a demand for diversity and the lesbian appointments to Secretary of the Airforce.
Another interesting thing I learned lately…they don’t track how many transgenders are in the military (at least not the USAF and I have no reason to believe the other services are different, as it is a privacy issue), so the “x thousands of serving transgenders” is a fabricated number.

Oh lordy, now I’ve heard everything. Seriously!!!

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) criticized President Trump on MSNBC on Friday, calling him “the most deplorable person” she has ever met.

Waters was asked on “Morning Joe” if it was appropriate to talk about impeaching Trump in the wake of news the the special counsel probing Russian election meddling has impaneled a grand jury.
“I’ve long thought that there was a lot of smoke, even fire, and that everything that I have learned about this president, starting with the campaign itself, that people should have understood that there was something terribly wrong with him,” Waters said on “Morning Joe.”

“As a matter of fact, I have said over and over again, I think he’s the most deplorable person I’ve ever met in my life,” she added.

Reclaiming my time: Maxine Waters’s beleaguered congressional hearing led to a mighty meme(Video of Waters Slapping Mnuchin upside the head).
Waters’s fiery refrain became the new “she persisted.”
https://www.vox.com/culture/2017/7/31/16070822/reclaiming-my-time-maxine-waters-mnuchin-meme
“…When Waters asked Mnuchin why his office had not responded to a letter from her office regarding President Trump’s financial ties to Russian banks, Mnuchin prefaced his direct response to the question with a series of formalities — mostly compliments to Waters. Waters, however, was clearly wary that Mnuchin might be stalling in order to avoid answering the question, and repeatedly attempted to redirect him by insisting that she was “reclaiming my time” — a phrase rooted in House floor procedurethat has since swept the internet.

“We don’t want to take my time up with how great I am,” Waters said when Mnuchin tried to begin by complimenting her. When Mnuchin insisted he had been attempting to answer the question, Waters continued to press him to actually do so, repeating the “reclaiming my time” refrain…

“Reclaiming my time” quickly became a catchphrase for commentary on the Trump administration, racism, misogyny, and other progressive issues.

But the meme can also be applied as a general expression of empowerment.

The meme has also already spawned two incredible musical outgrowths — this remix of Waters’s interaction with Mnuchin by Adam Joseph, and this viral video by Mykal Kilgore.

Maxine Waters also stated that despite her efforts to keep the questioning on track, Mnuchin “absolutely stonewalled” her, pointing out that he didn’t fully answer all of her questions in the hearing about how he handles financial information regarding the Trump-Russia investigation.”

WTF is Ann Althouse, it doesn’t matter as the world laughs at Trump after the transcripts were released.

So what now during Mr. Anti-Vacation(Trump’s) 17-day golf vacation?

Trump kicked his secret service bodyguards out of Trump Tower so now they need drones to watch him.
Secret Service to test small drone at Donald Trump’s golf club

So why is he now pushing the Secret Service away during his golf vacation in particular?

The private plane belonging to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, who has close ties to Vladimir Putin, and whose wife attended Trump’s inauguration in January, just happened to land in New Jersey today. Abramovich’s plane arrived at Newark Airport within a few hours of Trump’s own arrival at that same New Jersey airport for his 17 day golf vacation.”

Mitch McConnell and other GOPers GOT Russia $$$ ~ Who’d a thunk it?
Tangled web connects Russian oligarch money to GOP campaigns ~ I’ve shared this info with ya’ll here before but you’re all for Putin being Trump’s Puppet Master…Ready to fight tonight for Putin?
https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2017/08/03/tangled-web-connects-russian-oligarch-money-gop-campaigns
“Party loyalty is often cited as the reason that GOP leaders have not been more outspoken in their criticism of President Donald Trump and his refusal to condemn Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. Yet there may be another reason that top Republicans have not been more vocal in their condemnation. Perhaps it’s because they have their own links to the Russian oligarchy that they would prefer go unnoticed.

Trump and the political action committees for Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and John McCain accepted $7.35 million in contributions from a Ukrainian-born oligarch who is the business partner of two of Russian president Vladimir Putin’s favorite oligarchs and a Russian government bank.

Mitch McConnell was the top recipient of Blavatnik’s donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik’s holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and OpenSecrets.org.

Marco Rubio’s Conservative Solutions PAC and his Florida First Project received $1.5 million through Blavatnik’s two holding companies. Other high dollar recipients of funding from Blavatnik were PACS representing Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker at $1.1 million, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham at $800,000, Ohio Governor John Kasich at $250,000 and Arizona Senator John McCain at $200,000.

In January, Quartz reported that Blavatnik donated another $1 million to Trump’s Inaugural Committee. Ironically, the shared address of Blavatnik’s companies is directly across the street from Trump Tower on 5th Avenue in New York..

…Blavatnik’s relationships with Russian oligarchs close to Putin, particularly Oleg Deripaska, should be worrisome for Trump and the six GOP leaders who took Blavatnik’s money during the 2016 presidential campaign. Lucky for them no one has noticed. Yet.”

JQ Public’s latest piece. It’s pretty interesting:
https://www.jqpublicblog.com/debunking-mythical-narrative-lackland-scandal/

A reader aptly notes: “This editorial is the exact opposite of another one about sexual conduct at the Air Force Academy. In this page we’ve got charts and denial the scandal was ‘that bad’. Yet, in the AFA story pure innuendo is used to claim the Academy is still fraught with sexual misconduct that nobody is doing anything about.”

Yep. JQ’s reply: “That’s not actually a lucid reading of the two stories. But have a look back at that other piece and you’ll find the answer to your question. The thing that ties together suppressing claims of assault and overzealously prosecuting on weak evidence … is the USAF’s sensitivity about its public image. USAFA is playing politics with complaints while Lackland has played politics with prosecutions.”

IOW, the thing that ties it all together in his estimation is “USAF=bad”.
That is his sole agenda.
He’s like a guy running around demanding that they prosecute all the witches (“Look at all the witches running around! Obvious sign of incompetency”) …and then when it goes to trial (“These aren’t the witches we’re looking for. Obvious incompetency!”)
He’s done the same thing with DUIs. One side of his mouth admonishing attempts to curb them, then turning around and blaming the USAF after they happen (“obvious dereliction of duty).
This should be considered when reading his handiwork.
Thought I’d throw that out there because I’ve seen him linked to a few times here.
But, again, the article is interesting (sometimes he gets it righ

Just to add, this is why I find human psych so interesting.
Cognitive dissonance is strong.
I’m sure in his mind there’s no inconsistency whatsoever.
“Here’s an example of the USAF trying to cover up in this way…and this next example they are trying to cover up in another way!”
Really fascinating stuff.
