Slide show Doug posted is a good look. I think that one’s made the rounds before on here but still always fun.
Jibber jabber re: the Trumps above…
Anything wrong with a federal referendum on whether direct family members of elected officials should be barred from performing any official or associative duties that are in the direct chain of said official? This would include the spouse and would include any “unofficial representative” i.e. “the face of” duties (see Nancy Reagan). I’m thinking it would pass, not overwhelmingly but it’d pass.
This isn’t 14th century Europe and nobility/royalty no matter what it’s dressed in doesn’t jive with democracy.
Ok, I get snatching up people with warrants (if they’re serious enough) and putting them in a dry pokey but uhh…
The F is the point of our justice system if after completing your sentence for whatever sex offense you committed you have to forever put up with BS like this? Of course they use the go-to “for the children” but here’s the thing, people seem to not give enough craps about letting these people out which means they’re ok with their sentences being fulfilled. When you’ve done your time you’re done. Stop with this half-asses endless BS and increase the incarceration periods if you don’t feel the punishment is enough.

Hear, hear!
How about military spouses too? I have a friend who had to take a six week class (mostly on protocol and so forth…she learned the numerous ways to set a table) when her husband got an assignment to Kuwait. They had to entertain for “official dinners” and unofficial ones (visiting VIPs don’t always qualify as “official visits” and if they don’t, they aren’t funded, but it is still expected to entertain them) at their home about twice a week, mostly out of pocket. It’s a ginormous expense, the higher you go the worse it gets. I’m sure Congressmen and Presidents have these expenses covered but military largely don’t anymore. When the funding dried out, the customs stayed.

I would think the best way to kill that nonsense is for the spouses to band together and overrun town halls until they listen.
“It’s a ginormous expense”
Bill them, or claim it on your tax return as a work-related expense.
I’ve no personal experience with this, I was an NCO and both my wife and I had 0 interest in Army Mandifun. I could afford to be like that because I was only doing a single enlistment term and had no career ambitions that entailed wearing the uniform.
Wow I thought OPM mishandled their breach. These d-bags better be thoroughly investigated.

Actually, they need the right regulations.
The Equifax hack was not a Wall Street issue… but nice try.

Most companies look at your data like a pervert peeping through your bathroom window while you take a big creamy shít. Then they go tell all the other perverts what they saw.
Grammar Nazi Bonus: They need less regulation but FEWER regulations.

Cut off trade with China for a while?
Here’s an album of Korean slides taken in 1968-’69 by a US soldier. https://www.flickr.com/photos/58451159@N00/albums/72157688406928735
“Cut off trade with China for a while?” No, then that would hurt Ivanka (clothing line) and Jared (real estate)
What??!?!! Ivanka and Jared have business interests in China?
If more people found out about that then Drumpf would surely be finished!
We have to spread the word!
We got him! We totally got him this time! He’ll have to resign the Presidency in Disgrace!
