Until they get more Asian-American producers and directors in Holly-weird, this trend will continue. Just like African Americans, Asian Americans shall overcome!

This involves three things I don’t care about:
Hollywood
Twitter
Racial Bitching
I’m Japanese, and I don’t care. Think about this way. Hollywood movies are one of major export of the US. And If I wanted to watch Asians, I watch Japanese movies. I watch Hollywood movies because it is “exotic” in a way. If I see Asians a lot in Hollywood, that makes it less “exotic”.
…though they all seem to fall into the trap of typecasting.
…you know…
…exploited schoolgirl and all.

My mom often says “I want to watch that American sitcom with Daniel Dae Kim instead of Infinite Challenge, King of Mask Singers and whatever historical Korean drama with terrible fights scenes that are on right now”
Oh wait, she doesn’t.
Let’s face it, most OG Asians already watch Asian programming from home. They don’t feel this need this to be “represented” by a foreign productions. If someone like Yoo Jae Suk had a cameo in a Hollywood film, they might watch that. That guy is everywhere in Korean variety shows, I don’t get it.

Hmmmm. Seems like from the very small sample size represented here that Asians and Asian Americans don’t expect anything from anyone.
With attitudes like that, how do they expect to achieve higher rates of financial success than other minorities? That’s craaaaazyyyyyy.

It will be noticed once those dirty Japanese start paying fair reparations for the comfort women!

Well that’s not to say at some point you cross the line of ridiculousness, i.e. Steven Seagal… http://www.upl.co/uploads/3500wdp1505623372.bmp
What’s all the complaining about?
There are lots of movies out there with Asians.
