President Trump says he intends to declare North Korea a state sponsor of terrorism.
Trump said Monday that the designation will impose further penalties on the country. He called it a long overdue step and part of the U.S. “maximum pressure campaign” against the North.
The move will return North Korea to the list of countries the U.S. views as state sponsors of terror for the first time since 2008. That’s when the North was removed in a bid to salvage a deal to halt its nuclear development.
U.S. officials cited the killing of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s estranged half brother in a Malaysian airport this year as an act of terrorism.
North Korea would join Iran, Sudan and Syria on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

I thought it was yet another lame attempt at keeping me off this site. In one way or another, I’ll always be here. Teehee.

Smokes,
The Circle of Change Without Improvement must be maintained.
You have noticed that we are back where we started from.
We have had this interface before… though this one is freshly terrible in it’s own way.
The miserable flow-of-conversation-killing Reply Button is back. The useful Upvote/Downvote and How Many Views are gone. All the functionality of the comment entry box is missing.
I guess its stark beauty is in its minimalism and simplicity…
…so GI’s task won’t be complete until it becomes clutteted with useless new features and further disruptive functions… after a period of sporatic buggy brokenness in both function and formatting.
GI is a bit like a woman… rearranging the furniture whenever troubled over something unrelated and needing a “change”.
That’s so cute.
And, as we do with women, we will endure.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is not everyone’s way of thinking.

What happened to the old photo recognition contests? That is the thing he should bring back. This format is almost as bad as reflective belts.

CH you’re begging for him to switch the forums to the main interface aren’t you? 😛
For everyone who is wondering what happened, the comment plug in I was using crashed because it was not compatible with a recent WordPress software update. I had to get a tech from web host provider to work the issue and finally got me back in. I will reinstall the comments plugins once they are compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
Also I turned off the reply function. Sorry for the inconvenience, but these compatibility issues tend to happen from time to time whenever WordPress does an upgrade. Thanks.

Via well-hung reader tip:
Our old friend Gomes who crossed into North Korea and was rescued by Carter came out as a total flamer.
Sad news about Gomes. No one should have to go like that. Even though some folks wish it on others, I hope we are better than that.
May all of you have a blessed holiday season and find true peace in Christ.

Blueberry, I am not better than that.
I have run the fůck out of patience with the parasites and spoilers of humanity as well as their enablers who generally are more interested in them as a tool for gain than an object of compassion.
In the interests of a civil society, I am understanding of assistance to those who truly cannot help themselves mentally or physically… but have no interest in “entitlement” creep.
Gomes was a plague upon society and caused a great deal of trouble and expense for other.
No tear will be shed by me… other than a bullet to the back of the head would be better than burning alive.
When more people harden their hearts in certain ways, a large segment of society will rise to the expectation and become better people.
But when the crazy are empowered instead of treated and the lazy are excused instead of condemned, the productive class will be burdened with their presence and humanity will be pulled down from its potential.
My days of idealist saving of the world are over… as the world will take all you give and refuse to be saved to keep the giving coming.
If I save the world, it will be with force… guided by big-picture wisdom and compassion only for those who truly deserve it.

CH, I Am not an idealist. I just hope none of us wish for folks to die in a fire.
That said, there are folks for whom a bullet would be too quick and a new rope too expensive.
But, in the spirit of Thanksgiving Day, we’ll hold off justice until the so-and-so’s self identify.
I am more a fan of John Wayne in Stagecoach than I am of any of the twerps and pervs who played in Law and Order…
Use a WMD in an international airport, expect to be called a State Sponsor of Terrorism:
