Japan Reporting that North Korea May Be Preparing for A Missile Launch
|
I guess we will see if North Korea has one more launch left in them this year:
Japan has detected the radio signals which indicate that North Korea may be preparing for a new missile launch, authorities announced on Tuesday.
The radio signals pointed to the North Korean Army’s possible launch of a ballistic missile “within the next few days”, reports Efe news.
However, the authorities said that at the moment no satellite has detected the deployment of any launching platform; hence these signals could be linked to the winter manoeuvers of the North Korean troops.
Meanwhile, a South Korean government source told Yonhap news agency on Tuesday that all the military intelligence agencies of Seoul, Tokyo and Washington have detected in recent days the radio signals such as those that had been detected before a launch. [Business Standard]

Yonhap is reporting the norks did launch something.
So is the New York Times:

OK, now what?

How many quality boat engines and GPS systems could that rocket have bought? Nah, the same old routine works best.
Fatty: Soon, Comrades! Soon, the Orange Capitalist Pig will give us our Danegeld to make us go away! Soon!
I’m not sure Trump got the memo though. He doesn’t seem to be following the Standard Playbook… Good or Bad remains to be seen.
I said: “OK, now what?”

South Korea’s military conducted a “precision missile strike drill” just minutes after North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. EST.
Well, that’s what, apparently…
Good excuse for a naval blockade to “enforce sanctions”.
I wonder if NK will see that as an act of war?
Will a navel blockade affect the Chinese border? 😕
A naval blockade will not affect the Chinese border.
But it will force China to make a decision:
Allow North Korean exports/imports, to go through China and risk advancing Trump’s anti-Chinese economic policies… or support the blockade as much as necessary and keep doing business with America.
It seems China is just as flustered with NK as the rest of the world. Angry little countries with globally-deliverable nukes do no good for anyone.
Nobody is going to back down here. Eventually, NK will give America the excuse needed to attack them unilaterally while the rest of the region scrambles to look out for themselves while wondering how they let the situation get so far out of control through decades of appeasement.
And if North Korea does nothing… well… there are solutions for that.
Remember the Maine, to hell with Spain and the Gulf of Tonkin incident are confirmed frauds.
There is a pretty good case Pearl Harbor was LIHOP (let it happen on purpose)… and, with a tinfoil hat, perhaps so was 9/11.
The outcome is preordained with North Korea. It is now a matter of building an airtight parallel construction of reality.
Shyt will get done.

Watchoo talkin bout, Willis?
I guess Fatty decided to drink normal Moet instead of Dom to pay for this ICBM.

I agree about the LIHOP; but no one expected Pearl. They still had Plan Orange in place, for goodness sakes (After Japan attacked the Philippines, they were going to send the fleet from Pearl toward Japan). In the event, the attack on Pearl ended up costing fewer American lives than our ill-conceived plans. And our battleships were more easily repaired after being sunk in shallow water than they would have been mid-Pacific…
