The Korean peninsula is a tragicomedy
These younger Koreans have seen the lunacy of reunufication without a carefully orchestrated program to put north Korea on a road toward economic equality. If the shooting war starts north Korea will cease to exist as country. South Korea will be devastated and will not be able to handle the exodus. This is where China takes over.
I have met people opposed to hunting and killing animals who did not know the meat at Safeway came from animals… Pot does wonders for the intellect… 🙄

As time goes by, people on both sides of the line are going to wonder what reunification means and why do they need it. President Moon’s generation is the last one who knew the peninsula before the Korean War. In about 10-15 more years, all the people who suffered through the aftermath and the rebuilding of Korea will be gone. I know by that time, the peninsula will have either been permanently divided and north Korea will become a Chinese province, or as Rascal1212 stated, the whole peninsula will become China’s new province after the devastation caused by the next Korean War. It’s only a matter of time before either of these scenarios plays out.
