Curious if anyone can dig up info on Christopher Wayne Chatman. He was sentenced to 5 years and confined to US Army Correctional Activity-Korea, Camp Humphreys. Article below.

https://www.stripes.com/news/navy-chief-sentenced-to-5-years-for-attacking-s-korean-woman-1.269045

Is he still imprisoned, released on good behavior, extended for bad behavior, still in the Navy, discharged, moved to stateside, etc.?

Marmot’s Hole used to publish a monthly UCMJ report, but can’t seem to locate a similarly compiled report. It was like reading the Darwin Awards.

I think the facility at Cap Humphreys is only temporary storage for folks sentenced to more than one year. He was probably sent stateside…

Are you sure he didn’t go to Korean prison? Off post crime committed against a Korean Citizen; should have gone to Korean Prison. Not listed on the Federal Inmate finder: https://www.bop.gov/inmateloc/

Actually I’m not positive. While worked in the same bldg as him a month or so before this incident, I never saw him in prison. We had a couple SNCOs and officers do welfare checks on him the first year or so he was there and I would have sworn they were going to the Hump on these trips. But now in this (doubtful) hindsight, it could have just been the Pyeongtaek area. Now that you mention it, it could have been a Korean prison with a wing for foreigners because I heard he beat up another American the first week he was there (Chatman accused the other inmate of stealing his money or something). I also wrote to the authors of the article asking if they could use their contacts and do a follow up on him.

Actually, I believe it was this blog, not the Marmot’s Hole that did the monthly UCMJ report. Not sure if USFK still publishes those for the public or not.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/03/25/bolton-responds-after-tim-kaine-questions-security-clearance-over-russia-gun-video.html

Apparently Bolton had a college dorm mate whose third cousin had a dog whose name sounded Russian or something to that effect.

And they called Benghazi investigations a witch hunt.

Bolton recorded a speech that was *gasp* seen by at least one Russian…

There is a good chance 5 years from 2014/02 minus pretrial confinement means he is out of prison.

He was 35 in 2014… making him 39 now.

There is one 39 year old in America who lived in a couple Navy cities.

My bet is on:

The Korean prison with the foreigner section is in Cheonan, which is not too far from Pyeongtaek (around 20 kms), but is actually in a different province.

Trump tweet: US Military is going to build the wall!

“Because of the $700 & $716 Billion Dollars gotten to rebuild our Military, many jobs are created and our Military is again rich. Building a great Border Wall, with drugs (poison) and enemy combatants pouring into our Country, is all about National Defense. Build WALL through M!”

Up until a couple of years ago an argument could have been make for the public interest in revealing someone’s affair in Korea. Prior to February 2016 adultery was a criminal offense. Since then, it is now a civil offense and nobody else’s business.

Those THAAD cops have balls the size of a pine nut. It’s highly illegal? Then throw their ass in jail!! But, they would still give us a fine for illegal u-turns, etc. Da fuq.

It pretty interesting looking up info on the Chief subject, I was one of his sailors at the time of the incident. He never came to me as the type of person to do any wrong always level-headed and in charge Just goes to show that everyone has skeletons in their closet.
