Picture of the Day: Hiking in South Korea

Braving haze

Despite the “bad” level of fine dust, hikers cross a suspension bridge in Wonju, east of Seoul, on March 25, 2018, amid mild temperatures. The 200-meter-long bridge, which opened in early January, is the longest of its kind in South Korea. (Yonhap)

Picture of the Day: Hiking in South Korea.
Hiking with all those people…Looks more like the Subway in South Korea.

How can anyone consider being surrounded and wedged in by so many people as a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, or any activity?

Cherry blossom watching is the same like rush hour on the bus or subway too.

any “festival” in Korea is pure misery. You and a million of your closest Korean friends jammed together…and of course there is the traffic to get in and out of these locations. You’ll spend two hours at a festival and 6 hours in traffic coming and going….if you are lucky.

And free for all parking doesn’t make it any better either.
