Korean Soccer Player Accused of Raping Woman on Guam
Here is another case of a Korean man allegedly behaving badly on Guam:
A Superior Court of Guam judge has allowed a South Korean soccer player charged with sexual assault to return home for military service, pending his trial.
Kim Byong-oh is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Jan. 22 at a Guam resort, the Pacific Daily News reported Monday.
Kim was indicted on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Kim was on Guam with the Sangju Sangmu soccer team for training in January.
The 22-year-old woman who accused Kim told police that she woke up in a hotel room to Kim rubbing her stomach and breast. She told police that Kim also took off her underwear and raped her.
The woman said she ran out of the hotel room and found a security guard who called police. [Korea Times]
You can read more at the link, but the woman is from South Korea so it will be interesting to see if the Guam legal system moves forward with prosecution or hands it over to Korean authorities to prosecute.

Seven counts, so seven acts right? I only count four. 😐

Basically: He touched my stomach. He touched my breast. Oh, and he also raped me.
Usually, if it bleeds, it leads.
Not necessarily, many a well endowed man have been accusde of rape just because they are large down there and leave a mark.

The absence of a breaking and entering charge indicates he didn’t break in. Was he invited?
That sounds like the girl suffers from “getting drunk, doing something stupid, regretting it, and calling it rape” syndrome…
when are we going to throw firebombs at the Korean embassy to protest korean (soon to be) soldiers commiting crimes in US territories and then fleeing prosecution….and also, what crazy judge allowed this?

@J6Junkie, this is an entirely different guy. This guy is a Korean soccer player serving with the ROK military.
@Flyingsword: Good point. If a US soldier did this in Korea and was allowed to leave the leftists would be protesting like crazy. For those that did not read the full article this soccer player soldier was turned over to a Lieutenant Colonel and allowed to go back to South Korea and check in with a probation officer via phone and email.

And yes, he got off pretty scot free for an alleged rape. He should be rotting in a Guam jailcell.
They were probably just happy a soccer player actually scored.
