Here’s hoping there really is peace in Korea that doesn’t result in everyone becoming chattel of any government.

SETNAFFA, going to go from 20+ million enslaved in the North to 70+ million enslaved in Korea. Will not end well.

Flyingswotd, it’s probably going to be 40 million slaves. The other 30 Million will be shipped off to Russia and China to repay debts. Of course, I am basing this on how Vietnam and Zimbabwe handled their post-revolution economics.

From the “They couldn’t print it, if it wasn’t true” files:
https://www.duffelblog.com/2018/04/kim-jong-un-defects-south-korea/

PANMUNJOM, South Korea — Friday’s summit between North and South Korea came to an unexpected halt after North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un used his brief landmark visit to South Korea to defect across the demilitarized zone, sources confirmed today.

Kim crossed the border surrounded by numerous bodyguards and handlers. When this group briefly departed to enable a photo with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Kim furtively glanced around before dashing at a startled Moon, screaming “I wish to defect!”

While satire, you do have to wonder what would have happened if Moon had brought a couple large wheels of Swiss cheese as a gift for Kim… 😉

GI, there’s a lot of mental illness going around. The epidemic seems to have started on November 9, 2016. And it’s entirely fueled by the same media that covered up Ted Kennedy leaving his girlfriend in his car while he went swimming.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is treatable; but it’s exacerbated by the left to create fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Communist and other totalitarian movements thrive on that.

I don’t know if the poor benighted heathen who got the cops called on her is a victim of the leftists or a perpetrator of fraud on her own level; but it doesn’t matter. I keep talking about Romans 1:18-32. We’re already broiled, boned, and plated…

GI Korea, loved the line in the story, “…I know how hard it is for people who are perceived as fat…” There is no perception about it, you are fat.

No. I agree with the phrase “perceived fat”.

To a chubby-chaser, she is almost just right.

To a feeder, she is on the small side.

Also, it sounds like the conflict had nothing to do with race. It was just because she was fat.

…well… perceived fat by the designers of a standard airline seat.

Bonus thought: a shark would perceive her tasty

Imagine having to be the person to tell the fatass they are too fat for a seat.
Someone actually has that job.
That must suck.

Winners and Losers.

Jim Cramer thinks defense stocks are being hated because of **maybe** peace breaking out in Korea.

Change in the Tax Code may end up costing Federal Employees when they are moved to new duty stations:
https://www.stripes.com/news/civilian-pcs-moves-now-considered-taxable-income-after-law-change-1.525359

Some civilian federal employees are facing hefty tax burdens after a revision included in the new tax-reform law removed exemptions on moving expenses, officials say.

The change, which went into effect Jan. 1 as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, essentially redefined employer-paid and reimbursed moving expenses as taxable income — except in the cases of active-duty service members.

OK, I’ve been a hobo all my life, both as a kid, a 20 year service member, and now as a DA Civilian. While I loved my time in Korea, and am hoping for orders back to Korea, getting hit by a stiff tax bill for a move I’m required to make isn’t exactly fair. I had to sign a Mandatory Mobility Agreement when I took the job. I’ve smiled and sucked it up every move the Army transferred me, same as with every move when I was in the Navy. But if my moving is now going to cost me more… Hmm.

More at the link for anyone still moving about on Uncle Sugar’s dime.
