Picture of the Day: Anti-US Rally Outside of US Embassy Over Summit Cancellation

Anti-U.S. rally over U.S.-N. Korean summit cancellation

A protester holds a banner that says, “Trump jeopardizes peace on the Korean Peninsula,” during a rally in front of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul on May 25, 2018, to criticize the U.S. government and call for a summit with North Korea as scheduled. On May 24, U.S. President Donald Trump called off his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un scheduled for June 12, citing the North’s “tremendous anger and open hostility.” (Yonhap)

It’s too easy to make snarky comments about rude and unattractive people.

However, I am at a loss to say something nice about these protesters.

She took the free food and money to hold up that sign. No way she’s going to enjoy rice gruel and pine needles under Communism.

A little commie-inspired famine will thin her up enough to get a state-issued husband.

Also, that is my favorite picture of Trump.

He is right in the middle of saying what he needs to be saying.

Those who use it are unintentionally clowning themselves.

It’s always amusing when foreigners tell the US to stay out of their country, but then demand that the US provide their freedom to them.

Why should the US be responsible for re-uniting the peninsula when the leaders of those countries can’t do it?

I can understand some people misunderstanding the type of person Donald Trump is prior to the 2016 election. I was one of them.

What is sad is how many refuse to alter their opinion in the face of the volume of info now available that is contrary to that opinion. Even more remarkable is that most of those people who won’t change their minds are 100% persuaded that they are open-minded. Sad.

Suddenly thought of Marty Robbins, and wondered if this fits…

A white sports coat and a pink carnation
I’m all dressed up for the dance
A white sports coat and a pink carnation
I’m all alone in romance

Once you told me long ago
To the prom with me you’d go
Now you’ve changed your mind it seems
Someone else will hold my dreams

A white sports coat and a pink carnation
I’m in a blue blue mood.

I’m all dressed up for the dance
I’m all alone in romance

Once you told me long ago
To the prom with me you’d go
Now you’ve changed your mind it seems
Someone else will hold my dreams

A white sports coat and a pink carnation
I’m in a blue blue mood……….
