Why do you believe NK’s version of Warmbier’s situation?
Check the list of “Crimes” committed. While religious proselytizing is protected free speech in many countries, it’s clearly NOT allowed in North Korea. Don’t preach, don’t hand out Bibles, don’t try to establish a church. Heck, I wouldn’t even pray over my dinner if I were in a restaurant…
Also, don’t try to sneak in, and don’t trust Chinese guides to show you safe places to look across the river into North Korea.
While I won’t ever tour North Korea as long as the Kims are in power, there are plenty of Adventure Tourists who stay at crappy hotels, take canned tours, and eat bad food (while drinking what is supposed to be quite good beer!), and come home afterwards with the same photos of the Juche Tower as everyone else.

@JohnHenry
While I don’t believe everything North Korea says, it seems like almost everyone who gets into trouble in North Korea tended to bring it down upon themselves.
