Last time I was in Korea was in April of 2014. The cherry blossums were falling like snow. It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
Korea is a wonderful place, at times.

Setnafa: When I lived in Japan, the local term for the cherry blossoms falling was “pink snow”. It was quite a scene along the main road from the train station down to NAF Atsugi in Ayase, Kanagawa!

Wait a week or two and the cherry blossoms near the Yongsan PX gate will bloom. There’s a better spot than anywhere outside in Seoul. No crowds!

J6, my relatives are down near Pyongtaek and a few friends got together and we drove down to Daecheon on the coast.
The whole country has moments… but I agree that it’s more fun near good coffee…
