Tweet of the Day: Pocheon Government to Pay $4.8 Million to Restore Kim Il-sung’s Villa
|Pocheon City just announced it'll spend ₩5.4B ($4.8 million) to restore Kim Il-sung's villa. Where is Pocheon? Not in North Korea, but South Korea, between Seoul & Cholwon (on the invasion corridor to Seoul). While glorifying KIS, they vilify many SK presidents. Mind boggling. pic.twitter.com/cmFofCi459

Korean taxpayers money further going down the drain.
in these hard times in Korea that seems like a great use of taxpayer dollars.
To provide a little context from someone who went there, the villa itself is just a tiny attraction of Sanjeong Lake which has resorts, parks, and a small amusement park. When we went there I don’t even remember seeing the house; just a sign talking about it and the place as a whole hardly comes off as a Kim Il Sung glorification camp. If they’re looking to dump money into the overall area I guess it’s ok maybe not so much if it’s to spruce up the house itself and make it a museum . Coords for the house: 38.067017, 127.317936
Since Moon opened up the border, maybe he’s hoping Fat Leader will just come on down and spend time at the villa.
As I have made it clear many times before, there is no way a non-Korean can understand what goes through a Korean soju soaked brain.
Rascal, you could be right…
@Smokes, the last time I went up to Sanjeong Lake the old villa was there but marked with a sign. It appears the Pocheon government wants to turn it into the same type of tourist trap that Hwajinpo has with another one of Kim Il-sung’s old villas:

Rascal just ask one after they show up for work the next morning.\
Had 3 KGS working with me, some of finest people I know. Soju soaked does not apply. However, it amazed me how many ROK officers at MND, ROKJCS, and CFC, could even navigate to their offices in the morning. First order was their slippers and don’t dare have an early crisis.
