Tweet of the Day: The Foundation of the US-ROK Alliance?
|Kim Won Bong, 2nd person behind Kim Il Sung, reached ministerial level in Korea Workers' Party in #NorthKorea. He fought against #SouthKorea during the #Korean War. Yet #MoonJaein said KWB is "the root of SK military" & "the foundation of the SK-US alliance." Unbelievable! pic.twitter.com/lBRXj3AnK0

Welcome back, I thought someone at Vox complained about this site.
Hmmm… Moon must be taking something, like CBD oil with too much THC…
This is a pretty obvious error…

Good to be back, I would have preferred dealing with complainers from Vox instead of the cyberattack I had to deal with. Everything is back and running again fortunately.
@setnaffa, this is no error. Leftists have long liked Kim Won-bong because of his anti-Imperial Japanese activities. They liked to claim he was the founder of the modern ROK military. They gloss over the fact he sided with North Korea during the Korean War and helped solidify the power of Kim Il-sung before he was purged.
Moon is probably just trying to score points with North Korea by praising one of their generals from the Korean War that also fought the Japanese.
Well by siding with the norks he did solidify the partnership between the ROK & US, just not in the way most people think….as to being the root of the military then it wasn’t much of a legacy, until after a year in the war, ROKArmy was not trusted by anyone to stay and fight, and maybe even through the entire war…
Commie Moon must have had too much of that Red Kool-aid on Memorial Day.
Doc, part of that mistrust was because a lot of the NCOs expended themselves trying to stop nork tanks with hand-held explosives. Many of the officers were political appointees and not particularly well-trained.
The 24th got a similar reputation.
