China will claim those as “islands”.

Where we at? About 12-15 years before all these big solar projects have their panels start reaching EoL? Give it a further 5 years before it surfaces as to whether jumping the gun on going solar was worth the price of dealing with residual solar trash.

Two megawatts powers about 1500 homes, so this can power a village. Nice for a village, but not particularly (trigger warning) practical.

The toxic waste generated by most so-called “alternative energy” scams exceeds that of so-called “fossil fuels” by a wide margin. Solar panels can’t go into landfills, wind turbines kill migrating birds by the millions, hydropower kills fish and other aquatic life, nuclear… well, you know about that…

Everything causes cancer in someone. Maybe we put all the climate alarmists into the Mars Project and send them there ASAP.

Flyingsword, you’re right of course. All these supposedly “green” sources of energy do besides making the world less green is divert tax dollars into pllitical campaigns.
