Tweet of the Day: Patriotic Education Works
|What does it say that so many mainland Chinese living outside their country with full access to global media and information still fiercely condemn protesters in Hong Kong. Patriotic education and propaganda instilled since youth works!

Either patriotic education works or there is an amazing lack of critical thinking. After living in China for six years, I’m going to have to say it’s more of the latter than the former.
“Western” people tend to be more individualistic in their thinking. Asians, particularly East Asians, tend to identify as part of a group.
That’s why China is still China and Korea is still Korea. It’s why “normal” Chinese don’t see Hong Kong as part of China. And why South Koreans ignore all the warning signs about the norks, Moon, and their impending loss of freedom.
…and you setnaffa call me a troll, hypocrite.
