I wish all of you the chance to set aside your fears, uncertainty, and doubt. The chance to drop any malice or hatred and remember what a wonderful, blessed life each of us has.
I am over 60, overweight, and have pretty serious facial scarring. I am 2 years cancer-free; but still being checked every four months and still recovering from about seven surgeries. I am 15 months unemployed; but have two job offers percolating through various bureaucracies.
If I can be joyful, the rest of you can, too. And I challenge you to find positive things in your life and use thrm to encourage others.

Well said, Setnaffa! I do feel very fortunate and blessed. Life is good, and I am very glad to hear your health is good. 🙂
It has been a beautiful summer and with a new roof and new furnace (last winter we discovered something called ice damns. It seems they are bad. Very very bad. Also the furnace died) and a new snow plow and new snow blower…and in another week we’ll get the fireplace replaced because that doesn’t work either…then we’re ready for the winter.
Moon Jae-in has appointed Cho Kuk as new justice minister … while Cho Kuk’s wife’s corruption case wends its way through the ROK’s justice system.
Strangest thing I’ve read this week … since reading about the USAF crew stopping off at Turnberry Golf Course for tea and scones.

Stephen, getting weirder, Cho Kuk basically said his vision for South Korea is, ‘socialism now, socialism tomorrow, socialism forever…’ To paraphrase.

Oh, and about the USAF crew stopping off in Scotland, don’t you know planes only “break” in the nicest places…Hawaii, Singapore, Canary Islands etc….
German Air Force has many problems with their jets on navigation training flights breaking around the island of Majorca, something like a more fun Bermuda Triangle…
MODERATOR: Malcolm Nance, you served in the military honorably so, have you ever heard anything like this? About a military transport stopping at a private golf resort let alone one owned by the President of the United States.
MALCOLM NANCE: Surprisingly enough, yes I have, and that was Saddam Hussein.
Also, as expected the leftists are cheering on Cho Kuk.
Some are claiming that the prosecution’s investigations have been orchestrated by the prosecutors so that they can block Cho Kuk’s attempts to reform the prosecution.
As for the allegations, some have taken a so what attitude. To them all the Gangnam parents do it, so why make a big deal out of it.
To them all that matters is that Cho Kuk becomes Justice Minister and gut the more corrupt prosecution.

Today is also the day that the corrupt prosecution won the defense of its case against former Minjoo Party member and Ex-Governor of South Chungcheong Province: An Hee-jung.
Washington(CNN)President Donald Trump abruptly announced in a tweet Tuesday that he has asked national security adviser John Bolton to resign, noting that he “strongly disagreed with many” of Bolton’s suggestions “as did others in the administration.”
“I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week,” Trump wrote.
More at the link of course.

Among Bolton’s sins, he tried to c*ck-block the Trump-Kim bromance. 🙄
Bolton’s main offense … trying to start his own personality cult … to rival Trump’s personality cult.

And Stephen, shame on you for using the Bible to advance a petty interwebs political argument. Beside, we know you said nothing about how Barry “stopped the oceans rising” when he was inaugurated…

There was always people going in with ID card holders when the ID checker was off somewhere else. Or smaller PXs that had no ID checker. AAFES might make more money now.
My emphasis: “The Kim regime is built on the idea that the Kims are divine beings. So being a Christian is treason. The regime understands clearly that North Koreans hearing about salvation through Jesus Christ is a direct threat to their power,” said Nettleton.
It’s a beautiful, if hot, Sunday in DallS, TX.
