How will this be spun? A bold initiative to restart the stalled nuke talks, or a foreign leader comes to pay homage and beg at Great Leader’s feet to not attack?
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/north-korea-leader-kim-invited-trump-to-pyongyang-in-new-letter-report/ar-AAHli5L?ocid=ientp

Of course considering the hate Trump gets in the US press, it could easily end up being the North Korean press that praises him, while the US press slams him.

But an old Vulcan Proverb does apply: “Only Nixon could go to China.”

Flyingsword, that wasn’t an actual man. That was a whingey child masquerading as an adult. The behavior (boldly attacking a girl), the attire (bicycle shorts, camo hat on backwards, LGBT-friendly socks), even the gimpy cellphone case mark it as some sort of limp-johnson’d failure to achieve “dweeb” status…

He could not have looked more like a loser without replacing his necklace with a pearl necklace from Itaewon. Or maybe a skateboard with a Beto sticker.

Speaking of crime reporting, was there ever an update to this old story?

GI, I was afraid you’d say that.

Well, we can hope they find justice here and repent before they die and receive final judgment.

The Hwaseong Serial Killer has been caught!

By Kim Hyun-bin

Police have preliminarily identified the culprit of the so-called “Hwaseong serial killings,” which had remained unsolved for 33 years, according to local press reports, Wednesday. The identification came after the National Forensic Service (NFS) linked a DNA sample from the case to the person in question.

The killer raped and murdered 10 females aged between 13 and 71 from Sept. 15, 1986 to April 3, 1991 in rural villages near Hwaseong , Gyeonggi Province.

The Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency said it identified the suspect after the NFS found that DNA collected from a victim’s underwear matched his.

While prosecutors will be unable to file charges against the man, as the statute of limitations expired for the case in April, 2006, police officers said the 50 year-old suspect is already behind bars after being found guilty of a similar murder.

Officials are scheduled to hold a briefing today, at the provincial police agency about the investigation

The crimes were the inspiration behind the hit 2003 movie “Memories of Murder.”

Pretty nasty piece of work.

That’s the whole article, but there is a pic at the link, and I believe links to more details.

In the same Korea Times website as police bragging about identifying a serial killer/rapist, there are two very significant articles about the economy.

1. Massive layoffs across “Korea, Inc.” due to falling sales and rising cost of materials.

2. Increased incentives for “skilled” foreign workers (or those who had been in country for 5+ years).

Moon’s Pyongyang-inspired plan to have all Koreans on their knees in front of a government official, begging for a handful of rice with no other place to find it, is getting closer.

Mind you, I might be totally misreading the situation. But my simple brain sees what Moon is doing/allowing and tries to pattern match with other leaders.

South Korea may be completely hosed, to reuse a Bob and Doug McKenzie line.
