While the RoK’s no bastion of diversity I will point out that the first thing people typically associate Ebola with is Africa, and the majority of African’s are black. I wonder if they had cast all white people to play the foreigners from Africa would she be cry whitewashing? Probably.

Catching Ebola, hacking off children”s limbs with machetes, starving amid a flock of restless vultures…

…these are things it would be wrong for white actors to culturally appropriate.

When deployed to the peninsula there are many temptations to culturally appropriate …

Idque apud imperitos humanitas vocabatur, cum pars servitutis esset.

Step by step they were led to things which dispose to vice, the room salon, the bath, the elegant banquet. All this in their ignorance they called civilization, when it was but a part of their servitude.

Ref “So, tell me why the ONE time they ask for black models…. it’s for an Ebola virus outbreak.”

There’s always Somali warlords. Oh wait, I doubt any are female. Dissed again.

Flyingsword, please don’t pick on the guy with the hots for obese murderin’ dictators. Where he comes from, they normally only get to choose between genocidal Serbs or genocidal Bosnians. And someone told him that gauche zoot suite tie was stylish.

Meanwhile, intestinal diseases from Africa are probably related to one of the final plagues mentioned in Revelation, so (if you’ll pardon the pun) they’re nothing to sneeze at.
