Don’t know how others feel but overall the “Lib v Con” theme that’s plagued most of the internet to include this site has crushed my desire to post.
GI I’ll put it plainly, it’s gotten boring AS FUCK on `the Drop ever since the majority of stories on here are anti-Mun or anti-Lib. It’s become like a Korean-focused version of the Rush Limbaugh show.
Yes it’s your site, I’m just telling you how it’s being received by >this guy<. I would like to see `the Drop to move back to the cornucopia of OinK-based going's on that brought me back in 2003/2004…
Seriously, even when I lived there I nowhere gave a F close enough to care at the level you're pushing politics on here.

Aristotle wrote that all of life is politics. Of course, he wrote it in Greek; but you get the point.
Smokes, some people get upset when they see a place they loved get trashed by homeless encampments, piles of garbage, looted by uncaring strangers, or just stolen by gangsters. Typically they express that, much like you have in this thread
Political events in both South Korea and the United States are rapidly reaching a point where people will be going to jail. Emotions are runnibg high. It’s all that’s on TV. Well, possibly except for the Starcraft channel; but I haven’t seen that since 2014.
Yeah, it would be nice to have an apolitical environment. Maybe like the NFL or church, eh?
I am sorry that my posts may have contributed to your dissatisfaction; but I believe thd answer to u pleasant speech is more speech, not censoring others.
Perhaps you can suggest a topic and we can chime i?

It’s a good question whether the media and internet coverage of politics reflect what people in general actually care about. The cable news audience, e.g., is a tiny % of free TV’s, but they and their followers make it seem they are the only show in
town.
I haven’t seen how many individuals devote great amounts of time to online politics, but I think cat videos and music dominate YouTube . And Netflix and other video streamers account for a large % of bandwidth.
So maybe politics is sticky, but other topics are more widely popular.

@charliem, you may be right; but Netflix has taken a rather dramatic turn toward politics lately. And YouTube “recommends” and “trending” on my Sunday morning screen were 90% politics labeled “breaking news”. While I pretty much look for and play mid-20th Century detective stories like Dragnet or those G-Man flicks from the 40s and 50s and acapella hymns…

Media lies about cho rally size. lying leftist media. Actual pro cho ralley no more than 20000, however, commies held the rally next to a popular street festival to give the appearance of numbers.

Smokes, I’m fresh out of reflective belts; but I will buy the first seasonally-appropriate beverage if we meet.
@Smokes, most of the stories on here have been North Korea related, but there hasn’t been much going on in the front in recent months. Everything I post is what the major Korean news sites are highlighting. Moon has been very active pushing his agenda most notably installing Cho Kuk in the Justice Ministry which has been dominating the headlines and is something Koreans are talking about. I don’t think this should be ignored because it is political. I think it is important for ROK Heads to understand what is going on with this issue.
Looking back at my last 20 posts I only had 2x I consider Moon/Cho posts and have been actually posting more on the US-ROK cost sharing issue. Anyway I expect North Korea topics will heat up come the New Year’s timeframe and Cho will then be forgotten as Moon is likely betting on.

Moon brings this attention on himself.
THAAD site blockage, DMZ observation towers removed, moving no-fly zone further south, unilaterally violating nK sanctions, and a hundred other examples of nK appeasement.
Many of these issues (and their impacts) I would be unaware of w/o this forum.

The conservatives witch hunt of Cho is backfiring, large scale candlelight protest in front of supreme prosecutors office.
