probably has as many fake degrees and certificates as Cho’s daughter does. On a side note: advise everyone in Korea to see only doctors with their training somewhere outside of Korea, as we see with Cho’s daughter Korean medical degrees can be just paid for without the required training and rigor.

Probably for a better quality of life and English for the son than in Korea.

Hiding?
That is a loaded word.
How about “indefinite vacation” or “long-term cultural immersion”.
That seems more balanced than “hiding”…
…or “avoiding the harsh payback that is going to fall upon the Moon family after he leaves office”.

Thailand? Hmmm… Of all the places for a Korean “princess” to move, I wouldn’t have thought that was near the top of anyone’s list…

Bangkok is a wonderful place to live when you’re living on someone Korean taxpayers won.

I heard one night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble; but that is just what I heard.

Flyingsword, I heard from a friend that Siam is unpleasantly hot in the daytime and all the food is too spicy (they took a school-sponsored tour that included Bangkok, Manila, and Hong Kong and only liked the latter). I also heard from a former manager the nightlife was gay (and not in a 1930s “carefree” sense of the word; but I was never too certain about which way he leaned). And I saw the videos of the tsunami taking out those folks at some expensive resort hotel.
I’ll stick with something slower and less “interesting”. Never having had a corrupt politician for a father, I missed out on Board of Directors jobs and other sinecures
