Nelson Mandela’s Daughter Becomes South Africa’s Ambassador to South Korea
|Welcome to South Korea:
Zenani Mandela-Dlamini, the daughter of former South African President Nelson Mandela, has been appointed as her country’s ambassador to Seoul.
Mandela-Dlamini, who arrived at Seoul early this month, visited the Foreign Ministry here on Thursday for a meeting with officials.
“We’ve got great bilateral relations, and I’ll continue to work to strengthen them,” she told reporters. “We’ve got great trade relations with Korea and I look forward to strengthen them during my tenure.”
Zenani (60) was the first child of Nelson and his second wife and political partner Winnie. She was four years old when her father was imprisoned in 1964 for treason over his resistance to the apartheid

Resistance is a nicer word than terrorism.
CH, you’ve hit upon the truth about Africa. Nearly all of the so-called “leaders” of the so-called “freedom fighters” were trained in Moscow, Beijing, or Pyongyang.
America never had African colonies, so all was got in school was how Stephen Biko was a martyr and Biafra needs our support. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton and Roger Staubach take Rhodes Scholarships, established by the guy who started Apartheid to preserve the dominance of the Anglo-Saxon race. C’est la vie.
Meanwhile, tens of millions starve because the suddenly successful revolutionary armies forgot to take training on logistics, farming, auto maintenance, or anything else besides hating and killing.
South Africa has less excuse than Uganda, Zambia, Angola, or Zimbabwe, because they could have learned those lessons over the last 30-40 years and chose not to…
They chose the path Africa was on before any Europeans arrived. So there will be increasing famine, shortages, riots, mass murders based on ethnic background (Xhosa vs. Zulu, for instance). May God give them wisdom to stop before it’s too late.
Resistance is a nicer word than terrorism …
… and in 2023 we will join together to celebrate the sestercentennial of resistance to paying taxes on tea to the colonial authorities …
