Nuclear Envoy Says U.S. Must Give into North Korea’s Demands Before Restart of Any Talks

What is the point of negotiations if the U.S. is supposed to give in to all of Pyongyang’s demands before the so called negotiations:

Kim Kye-gwan

Former North Korean chief nuclear envoy Kim Kye-gwan said Saturday that dialogue with the United States can resume only when it fully accepts Pyongyang’s demands.

Kim, currently foreign ministry adviser, also stressed the North would never engage in a negotiation to exchange its core nuclear facility for partial sanctions relief as it did in the no-deal Hanoi summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in February last year.

Sanctions are being abrogated, not only by China and Russia, but by other nations as well. It’s time to get with the Japanese MSDF and stop and search all vessels headed for the East Coast of the north, especially ones that are questionably seaworthy. Would that loosen Fatty’s stance against negotiations if he knew that there would be no more new Lexus vehicles and no more full-length leather coats (see Fatty’s trip to the new fertilizer factory a day or so ago)?

Search ships especially coming out of South Korean ports, speaking of abrogating sanctions.

Would be a terrible shame if e ery ship heading to or from a Nork port was accidentally torpedoed by a Philippines Navy sub, a Japanese Navy sub, etc.

Why, the US Navy would need to intervene and offer training missions with all of those nations, inspect and escort merchant vessels headed to/from Nork ports, and ensure the safety of all concerned.

Be a real shame, as we are about 100 ships shy of having enough to protect North Korea against their neighbors. A real shame.

And that doesn’t count ships lost to storms, rogue waves, navigational errors, uncharted reefs, and who knows what.

I don’t need $5B. For me, about $2M is enough.

Well, unless I need to implement my plan. Then $5B might not be enough. There’s always somebody else wanting baksheesh…
