One beautiful thing about global pandemic is the media has pretty much forgotten about Global Warming Alarmism… and the few feeble attempts to work it into the narrative have sounded thin and half-hearted.
We likely won’t hear much about it for a while… as the ruling elite and the globalists now have a better social control mechanism through Global Pandemic Alarmism…
…and nobody but the most self-loathing over-indoctrinated libtard gives a fùck anymore what some shady computer model says might happen to Bangladesh in 100 years

GI, add a little “I am human” checkbox next to the Add Comment button. That will stop all the spam for a while. Put a “I am the AI Tool of Shìtbags” checkbox next to it to mix it up once they catch on.

CDC is now recommending masks. Now that everyone is in quarantine/lockdown and social distancing and far less likely to run into anyone.
You’d think this was the era of medieval medicine.
Haven’t heard the FDA claim alcohol won’t kill viruses in the past month or so. That was interesting. I find myself having trouble trusting these “experts”.
@Liz
We even got a recommendation for thick scarf. The problem is a mask generally has an identifiable inside, the part that touches your face, and an outside, the part that collects the viruses. If your covering doesn’t have an inside and outside and you reuse it, no bueno.

Maybe get a Web Application Firewall like Word Fence Security or Sucuri to augment akismet to deal with the spam comments?

JoeC,
Yeah, I’m thinking having those droplets absorbed in the fabric and keeping it right up next to one’s face and nose probably isn’t a good plan. I’m just gobsmacked about the complete change (no masks work at all to anything at all works) in just a few short weeks.

@Liz, it’s because not enough of us are getting sick enough to justify the destruction of our economy…

I’m sure banks and other high cash places just love this recommendation. Years ago my company at the time issued us ski masks (with company logo on the forehead) to deal with cold weather. The day they issued them they issued a memo “Do not wear these indoors.” Just like the warnings on everything else a few mental giants walked into businesses and customers homes wearing them. I threw mine into “this is a stupid idea” bin of my truck. I guess whoever got my truck after I left inherited it…

2ID Doc, yeah the other day exchanged money walked in with my mask on; was thinking I would get shot walking thru a door of this kind of place in the states dressed like this.
They will know where you were.

See, governor of Colorado got the memo per CDC recommendations.
No medical masks now, just a dust rag will do!
