China Reportedly Sends Medical Team to North Korea to Assist Kim Jong-un’s Recovery After Surgery
It is very hard to determine what is really going on in North Korea based off of all these anonymously sourced reports; so recommend caution about drawing any definitive conclusions:
China sent a team that included health-care experts to North Korea to advise on the country’s leader Kim Jong Un, Reuters reported, citing three people familiar with the matter.
The move comes amid reports that Kim was in critical condition after undergoing cardiovascular surgery. U.S. officials said Monday they were told Kim’s condition was critical after the surgery, though they were unsure of his current health. President Donald Trump on Thursday cast doubt on the report about the North Korean leader.

Man, I can’t help but comment, I just got the use of Netflix and… I just watched that movie “Steel Rain” last night. I thought it was real good, some of the other movies from there likewise, are outstanding. In case one did not know, “Steel Rain”‘s plot is a coup in North Korea though, the Supreme Leader is not Kim Jong Un.
Steel Rain is much like every Korean drama with everyone lying to everyone and yet even more unrealistic science fiction showing a Chinese nuke taking our American and Japanese missiles in flight.
While I pray it will never come to that, even the new “hypersonic” missile cannot shoot down multiple missiles in flight. And even if it could, Beijing would not risk nuclear war over Norkistani internal politics.
J6Junkie, I sincerely hope that this is not another fake news. But I won’t hold my breath until we have confirmation from a non-tabloid news source.
If this is indeed true, then this is great news for North Korea, South Korea, and America. With peace and unity of the Korean peninsula under the democratic South Korean rule, US troops can finally go home. Wouldn’t that be great for all sides?
What everyone is missing in all of this is that the north Korean people have been brainwashed for so many years about the deity-like quality of the Kim family, it won’t matter who takes the reins as long as the regime backs them. Everybody’s always speculating about how the death of a north Korea leader is going to bring about change but it’s been over 70 years with the Kim family in charge and I don’t see that changing even if Fatty III is dead. Skinny I (Kim Yo Jong) can take the reins easily so long as the old guard has her back. All that is needed for north Korea to survive is a figurehead from the Kim family.
@Tagum City Tim I have to disagree with you. The Buddhist and Confucius traditions, influenced by the Chinese are centuries older than Kim worship. The ancient generals running the military are not fools. The are a pack of jackals who if they see weakness (like an inexperienced 30something woman trying to keep power) in the leadership they will start a war with their troops to take power or depending on the general, the nukes which will equal power. If kim fatty the third hadn’t started his purge early on, and had his ancient uncle to advise him on who to take out (who got his own death as a retirement gift) it’s possible this civil war would already we playing out. As soon as there is an Kim heir in some sort power (Kim IV makes through Swiss boarding school without sneaking off to Disney Japan) the duo will likely retain power and the old generals will die (or get killed) off and the young generals will be fatty’s boys.
