Draconian mask mandates have come to Korea. Welcome to the club! The Philippines mandates mask wearing and social distancing and has begun to institute face shields in addition to these measures. I am against all mask mandates but there’s not much you can do when you live in a country where individual freedoms are stifled for the benefit of those afraid of catching a virus that has a 98% survival rate. FDR’s words still ring true, “The only thing we have to fear is, fear itself.”

I note that some of the highlighted area is on the ill-tempered side of the DMZ… Will the RoK police be enforcing the mandate on KJU’s folks, too?
Well, “When in Rome, …”, as they say; but apparently the “Whatever happens in Korea stays in Korea” policy was broken years ago.
Sounds like life under Communism right there.
