Will Electronic Ionizing Masks Become a New Normal?
|One Korean researcher thinks so:
In the future, people could be shopping for masks at electronics retailers instead of at pharmacies. Those masks would be capable of monitoring wearers’ breathing patterns, captured particles and gas, and be able to connect with other devices like smartphones.
This is not just a dream for Beelee Chua, a professor at the electric engineering school of Korea University.
In 2018, professor Chua’s research team, in collaboration with Ewha Womans University, developed a micro ionizer-based mask that would offer permanent protection and easier breathing.

Nope!!!
But you could call yourself Darth Flyingsword!
A big, heavy mask like that had better come with a mini A/C, or you’ll have more problems than just microparticles.
You’ll need at least three, cleaning kits, replaceable filters and that rubber gasket.
But it looks too much like the “cup” football players use…
Looks like they intend that people will be wearing face diapers indefinitely…..
@don. The masks are here to stay … I think, forever. Other restrictions may be lifted, schools / churches / stadiums / restaurants / businesses may reopen, but the mask mandate will remain. It gives governing entities a sense that they’re “doing something”.
Well, each of us needs to follow their own path; but I don’t think improperly-worn and ineffective masks do anything except give people disease… and provide a virtue-signalling opportunity…
I love masks!
– makes facial ID much more difficult
– keeps your Ss and Ps from showering me
– reduces your second hand garlic smell
– reduces public smoking a tiny bit
How do I unfriend this heretic?
