Learned this on Arirang News: Reportedly, China doesn’t count a positive COVID test unless that person is also sick. Essentially, they could get 100 positive COVID tests back on any given day, but if none of the people tested are also sick, then the count for the day is zero.
I suppose that is how China has reported no COVID cases in Wuhan for 3 months running. It’s not that there were no positive tests; none of them needed treatment. Or got treatment, however you wanna look at it.

A $1 billion fund Congress gave the Pentagon in March to build up the country’s supplies of medical equipment has instead been mostly funneled to defense contractors and used to make things such as jet engine parts, body armor and dress uniforms.
The change illustrates how one taxpayer-backed effort to battle the novel coronavirus, which has killed more than 200,000 Americans, was instead diverted toward patching up long-standing perceived gaps in military supplies.
