Sorry, three years cancer-free and it never had a chance, by the grace of God, to metastasize. It was an aggressive stage three by size, only in my cheek, and making jokes about other folks’ cancer marks you more solidly than anything anyone else could say about you.
I’ll bet your Mom is just brimming with pride about how you turned out.
