Why do you think India was not conquered and assimilated into the Muslim religion like so much from Turkey to Indonesia?
China has a much bigger threat than US THAAD missiles in South Korea and Japan. And if the Indians ever get angry enough, they might just march over the Himalayas and reduce both countries surplus population significantly.
Then again, they may decide to march around Western China and join up with the Russkies…
I wouldn’t suggest anything was beyond them.

The Indian’s only real military advantage over China is secure encrypted communication.
But invading China? I don’t think so.
They can barely get off the rez to get a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20.
